Half House - Rustic, Cape, Oceanfront w/ Sunsets

A quintessential Maine summer cottage located in the desirable Sand Beach section of Stonington. Enjoy dramatic, elevated views of the Penobscot Bay from this beautiful seaside setting with western exposure for amazing sunsets. The Half House has three bedrooms and one and one half bathrooms. The first floor of the home has a galley style kitchen with supplies to prepare most any meals, plus a dishwasher. There is a formal dining area and a full bathroom on the first floor. There is a livingarea with gorgeous views and sliding glass doors that go out to the small covered porch where one can take it the beautiful sights of the open ocean. Finishing the first floor is a bedroom with a full bed and its own half bathroom.

The second floor of the home is more rustic with bare wood in some areas. There are two bedrooms on this floor, one with a full bed and one with two single beds. These two room are adjoining so you do walk through one to get to the other.

** Note: Half House does have iron rich water, also known as hard water. This water can have a tendency to stain appliances and fixtures, while it is not unsafe to drink, wash in, cook with we do like to make guests aware of the issue ahead of scheduling your visit.
