    Yes it had some amazing amenity available for use. My only suggestions is to replace or get rid of the beach chairs as some of them are not in the best shape and suitable for use.

    Hale A Kai had everything we needed for a great vacation week. The one issue we had for a day with the internet was quickly resolved by the property manager and we were impressed with their responsiveness and follow through. We highly recommend this property for larger groups.

    I visited with a multigenerational family group. It was a very good space for meals, relaxing and there's plenty of bathrooms for everyone. There's a king master suite on the main level, which is good for older folks who don't do stairs well. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and an upper patio which is good for watching sunset. We loved the beach chairs which was we used often. You can walk to snorkeling spots or the body surfing beach from here. There's a path to get right to magic sands avoiding the road. I would love to come back another year and enjoy this home set in paradise.

    Overall our group (myself, husband, daughter, her 6 college friends) enjoyed our 8-night stay at Hale A Kai in Kona. Our flight arrived very early and we were able to arrange an earlier check-in, which was very appreciated. The property itself is in a very quiet neighborhood, super close to Magic Sands beach, and has a great backyard space. Note - the neighbor does not tolerate ANY noise after quiet hours so if you're in the hot tub, make sure to talk very quietly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and had all the necessities we'd expect in a rental home.I only had two disappointments with this rental: the living room furniture and the lack of kitchen essentials. For a house this size, boasting a guest count of 10, the living room only seats 4 people. This isn't very fun with a larger group because some have to sit at the dining room table or on the tile floor. The kitchen is understocked with glasses, cutlery, and plates/cookware for a group of 10. I was running the dishwasher after every 2 meals so that we had enough plates and cookware for the next meal. We also bought some essentials like plastic wrap, baggies, kitchen scissors, and such so that we could pack food for when we were out of the house, and left the remainders for those who came after us. I know not everyone cooks on their vacation as much as we did, but we wanted to keep costs down, so having a well-stocked kitchen would have been nice.Overall this was a good house and we loved the location!

    This was the perfect place for our group of two families—8 people in total! One of the highlights for us was the hot tub—it made a huge difference after a long day to sit back and unwind. The 4th full bath helped, especially with so many people constantly needing showers after the beach. The entire place was spotless, with clean linens and lots of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a large group. Proximity to the beach and surfing + snorkeling made it easy for the kids to enjoy the beach whenever they liked. Overall the place had the perfect vibe for a relaxing, hassle-free getaway!

    Close to everything. Loved the supplied big bags and chairs to use for the beach in the garage. No stress. Three generations with 4 distinct family units and there were 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms that gave each of us our own space to do our thing, so important when there are so many people/ages/personalities staying together!

    We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family of 7 adults. The whole house was clean. All of the linens (including provided beach towels) bathrooms & kitchen were spotless. The decor was tasteful and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. we needed for cooking & grilling. A clean sponge, coffee filters, a few rolls of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent & dishwasher and laundry pods were provided. Basic travel sized soap, body wash, shampoo & about 1/2 week worth of tp. The a/c in the bedrooms was nice, but the ceiling fans in every room provided relief from the heat. Forget Magic Sands. We found amazing snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach Park which was a short drive away. I would not hesitate to refer friends to stay here and would choose it again if we went back to the big island.

    The accommodations were everything we were hoping for and more. Location was perfect for the surfers in the family and the beach was amazing for the rest of us to watch them. The property was managed well, by a company that took care of us and were quick to respond when we needed them. ??
