The Gull’s Nest is a beautifully designed and decorated newer free-standing home with one of the BEST LOCATIONS in Shorepine Village just steps to the beach access and bordering the beach dune. It is adjacent to the fun, private trail system that runs throughout the village and is very close to Cape Kiwanda and all of the shopping, dining and recreation. This home has amazing decor and beautiful art throughout and has been well stocked for the vacationer with BBQ, books, toys, games & bikes. Your dog is welcome too and there is a back deck with access to the walking path, and a fenced side yard for privacy.

2 level home. First level entry has patio, living room, dining room, kitchen, & 1/2 bath. Garage leads to mudroom with laundry. Upstairs has master bedroom with queen bed and full bath, bedroom with queen bed, and another bedroom with queen bed. Full hall bath.

Shorepine Village is conveniently located close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Two miles of paved walking paths that interweave through the Village of small grass covered dunes, pine thickets and seasonal wetlands. Shorepine Village is an award winning area of traditional beach homes built in harmony with the natural environment. Centrally located between Kiwanda Shores and Cape Kiwanda, this new beachfront neighborhood is set among the dunes and snuggled down behind a grass-covered fore dune. This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night . Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.
Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).
We were happy with our stay. It was great to be able to have our dogs with us and be so close to the beach with a private setting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Hard to beat location and well appointed. Kiwanda Coastal Properties could not have been easier to work with- Craig even loaned us his personal coffee grinder when we notified him the rental's was broken!

This is a very nice two story property with upstairs bedrooms that is behind a sand dune. The beach is on the other side of the sand dune and is easily reached via a paved pathway and then over a wooden bridge. The top of the dune provides excellent views of the ocean and has nice benches you can sit and just listen to the surf. There is a nice brew pub just up the pathway with excellent views of the beach and surf. Food was good as was the beer. The home is well equipped and the two car garage will fit my 2021 Tahoe. You just cannot open the back of the Tahoe with the doors closed. Landscaping is nice with plenty of trees. If you are a cut grass nut, you will not appreciate the sea grasses as they are not trimmed. Lots of birds. Homes are very close, but it is well laid out. This time of year (April) it is fairly quiet and we had sun all week with nightly rain. May be noisier during the summer months. Lincoln City is a short 30 minutes away if you want more choices for food or stores. Casino was very good in both of their high end restaurants. Some minor issues, but most were easily fixed on our part and the rest we gave to management to fix after our visit as it did not inconvenience us. All in all, a wonderful stay that am would recommend and will be back to.
Everything was as advertised. Can hear the waves coming in from the master bedroom at night. Clean. Planning on returning in the future.
Perfect location and cozy house!
Very easy
Received message on day before arrival that fireplace was not working. Upon arrival we found the front bedroom offered no privacy while dressing or sleeping because the blinds were broken, inoperable, and in open position (except for one sagging corner). In addition, the boardwalk needed for beach access was “closed for inspection and repair”.
Reported to office manager a few things that did not work so well. —- (1) refrigerator was leaking water on food, (2) upstairs bathtub stopper would not hold water, (3) master bath toilets pocket door would not close, (4) could not use one of the stuffed chairs in family room because of a broken leg.
