This property was just as listed. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Clean home. Reliable, cool A/C. Fenced deck, great for pets and small children. Fenced pet area on the ground level. Great and plentiful seating on the deck. Great view of the dunes/ beach from the deck. There was a feet washing station on the deck stairs and a hose in the upper deck and below the house for easy washing. Quiet street. Easy walk to the beach. Peaceful strip of beach, not crowded at all. Overall wonderful property and very kind and helpful hosts. Hope to revisit this property!

Great value with a view! Just little upkeep things need to be done. Like dusting the fans and dvd player, rechaking the bathroom floor, and update internal signage. Hosts make you feel very welcomed and pretty well stocked in the communal manner. Do bring tp, paper towels and laundry soap.

What an amazing place to have a family vacation. We were so close to the beach. The kids just loved it! It was also really great to have lots of space to spread out in, so you weren't on top of each other the whole time. I would recommend highly and hope to come back again someday!

The house was amazing for the price point. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, the sand toys, chairs, and other items available to use at the beach. We also enjoyed the games available to use inside the house, since the evenings were dark when we visited.There is a resident blue crab under the deck which was fun to watch each day. The area is very family friendly.

Another fantastic stay at Barefoot Bungalow! The view of the gulf is wonderful, the home is very welcoming and well-stocked, and the location is perfect walking or biking to local businesses. The hosts are very responsive and helpful if there are any questions. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love the island, Barefoot Bungalow had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, the rooms are spacious. The house is gorgeous we loved sitting on the porch and watching the waves come in this was the second time we stayed at Barefoot Bungalow and absolutely loved it.The host go above and beyond to make your stay complete.

This was our second time staying and both time the host was attentive and welcoming. The house has everything you need and you just feel at home. Love the views from the porch and just steps to the beach. Very peaceful and relaxing place to be.

We loved the view of the sunset and sunrise from the porch.. The Access to the beach was great. Thank you for opening your home for everyone to enjoy. I hope to be back soon. We had such a great time unfortunately we didn't get many pictures.

Great location, lots of open space for gathering with a large group. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the ability to all sit on the porch together and see/hear the water. Easy access to the beach and lots of beach toys for kids and some chairs for the adults to enjoy. We would definitely stay again. Carla was great!

We had the best time! Beautiful area to stay and so close to the beach. Ideal for our family with young kids. The house was spacious and perfect for our big family. I enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings with a view of the ocean The home felt clean and we will definitely come back again!Pirates bar and grill was our favorite local restaurant.

The home was very cozy and peaceful and the view is spectacular the owners are very nice people and have a lot of extras to offer their kitchen has everything that you can possibly need this is the perfect stay for whatever you are looking for !!

This is a great location with views of the beach and plenty of room! Dauphin Island is such a nice, quiet place with super friendly people.

We had a great time. Ate at great resturrants took the Ferry and enjoyed the beach and sunsets.

Beautiful home close to the beach! Spacious, comfy, loaded with everything you need- tons of storage. This was our first year on the island & we loved it. We are already looking at next years dates! Owners are helpful & respond quickly! Our only suggestion is maybe another fridge, even a mini fridge. Our family of 11 had a heard time putting a week’s worth of food in fridge. Haha!

Great place to stay for a vacation...

This house is wonderful! The best part is the view. You can see and hear the ocean from the porch, kitchen table while eating, and family room while watching TV. It makes it still feel like you’re on a special vacation even when you’re back at the house. The rockers and side tables on the porch are a perfect touch for sitting outside. The walk to the beach is easy with the paved street and a short clear sandy path of sand. The house is well stocked for all types of cooking. The beds are all comfortable and linens were clean. The towels are soft and in good condition. The house was clean and smelled good. There are so many extras in the house like beach towels, blankets, fans, games, and night lights. A lot of extra consumables were provided as well which was a very kind bonus. Communication with the owners was always easy with a quick and polite response. I loved this house and would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing hosts! Lots of space, very clean and comfortable. Often times beach houses smell musty and moldy this place smells great. They have everything you need for the littles. Highly recommend!

Great location! The house was well supplied with everything we needed. Clear instructions were written out on how to use the TVs and the thermostat. Easy entry and lots of beach stuff in the shed.

We had a relaxing and peaceful time. Enjoyed the view of the ocean from the house and walked beach and rode bicycles. House had everything we needed. Host was responsive and pleasant.

We loved our time at Barefoot Bungalow! The view from the deck SPECTACULAR! The house is exactly as described. It was exceptionally clean, with a very well stocked kitchen, open living areas with plenty of space, and comfy beds. The location is wonderful. Just steps from the private beach and walking distance from many Island venues. Carla and Jason are fabulous hosts who respond promptly to any questions. Also, they have provided extras to add to your stay such as, beach towels, beach chairs & toys, games, etc. I would highly recommend staying at Barefoot Bungalow.

We loved the Barefoot Bungalow! If you are looking for a wonderful house on a quiet stretch of beach - this is the place! We loved that it was dog friendly but there was no evidence of dogs - best of all worlds! Great beach get away - even in January!

What a great house and location for our family Christmas! The house was clean and perfect. Even had beach Christmas decor in place. Very festive! Owners were so great to work with. We will be back!!

The wife and I and our 2 dogs spent a week at this wonderful house that is just feet from the beach. The house has absolutely everything you would need to cook meals. The master bed was very comfortable and the house is very clean and spacious. Nicbigbig front deck

This was our second time staying at Barefoot Bungalow. As with the first time, Carla and Jason were very easy to work with and included some very appreciated extras for our stay. We discovered the coffee maker was not working during our stay, but the hosts were very responsive and we had a new coffee pot within an hour or so. The house is fantastic with lots of space and close to the beach. We love that it is dog friendly and has a large enclosed deck for them to spend time just enjoying the sights and sounds with us. The dining room table is HUGE which is great for our family to use for playing a variety of card games in the evening. Thank you Carla and Jason for allowing us to share your home!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at this house. The hosts were super quick at responding, the house was very spacious, and was honestly even better than the pics! Location was fantastic, there were tons of things stocked in the shed for us to use, they even had a booster chair and pack n’ play that were not listed. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

We loved the open space, the family played cards around the dining table, the kids played charades in the living area.. nice view and stroll to the beach with tons of extra floats and toys in the shed. We will be back!!

This was a great family vacation. The house is described and presented as expected. Highlights: private beach 100 yards from the deck, owners give you chairs and some great beach toys for the kids, restaurants and bars are very close by, evenings on the deck in those rockers is priceless and the Island is amazing. We are planning to book again next year.

Great home on the beach. We had 8 people in the home...4 generations of family ranging from pre-teen to 80s. The two bedrooms on the main floor were were perfect for the elders, and plenty of additional space in the 3 bedrooms upstairs. We cooked at the house quite a bit, and the kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation. One thing I should have asked and did not was regarding the bathroom configuration since we were traveling with elders. There is no walk in shower and the bathroom downstairs does have a big step over into the tub/shower combo. I was grateful they had a nice hand hold to make it easier for the folks. We loved being able to have our dogs with us, and very nice to have the gate on the deck. Lots of beach toys, bicycles, and beach chairs on property, and we also used the charcoal grill. It rained a little most days we were there and I loved having the covered deck to sit outside in all weather. We spent alot of time in those rocking chairs on the covered deck. This was our first trip to Dauphin Island, and we really enjoyed it. It is a quiet area and perfect for a relaxing time with family. We did visit the aquarium, the bird sanctuary and some of the local shops. Some went fishing and we also took the ferry over to fort morgan. The house is a very short walk to the beach. young fol
