Stayed Nov 6, 2025The house is perfectly fine. Beds are comfortable. It’s clean with plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub. The bottom of the pool could use a cleaning. Nice location. Hard to beat a house on a canal. My only real issue was the contract you’re forced to sign. The house is owned by a company that rents numerous houses. This was a last minute booking for us. We had a death in the family and had to fly cross country to attend the funeral. Due to this, we did not have an option to cancel this booking, which I would have done if I had known the details of the contract. The main issue was the thermostat. Contract says it cannot be set any lower than 74 degrees. I’m sure that’s plenty cool for Floridians, but for people from the upper Midwest, that is a very uncomfortable temperature to sleep in. It was mitigated a little, though, by the ceiling fan and box fan. Overall, nice house that met the needs of four adults.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025It could use some tlc. Compared to other vrbo properties that i have rented, this was in the lower half as far as start up conveniences (trash bags, toweis, toilet paper, etc.) Overall a good property and convenient location. Met the owner who was very nice.
