Lovely in every way

The room was comfortable and homey. It was quiet and the location was perfect for exploring all of Door. The hosts, Mitch and Mary, were lovely.

Mitch and Mary’s house is so nice and their quarry house is so cool!! We spent three nights and had a great time there! The room is clean and private. Hope to see them next time we visit door county!

Mary and Mitch are the nicest hosts! We felt like we were their guests even though it was the first time we met them. The property is very close to Fish Creek. The room was comfortable for two people and much more spacious than a hotel room.

The owners were so warm and hospitable! They greeted me when I arrived, said goodbye to me when I left, and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. The room was immaculate and I could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

A beautiful gem of a property that was close to everything we did during our stay! Mitch and Mary are extremely personable people and we really enjoyed getting to chat with them. The property was pet friendly with grasses and lots of areas to sniff and we enjoyed eating dinner one night under the pergola. The room was very clean and well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. Our dog also enjoyed getting to play with Riley, the resident pup! Highly recommend this VRBO.

The place is great but the best thing about the Quarry House is the hosts. Amazing humans. They are so helpful, kind and interesting. We hope to stay there again someday!

Perfect space for my husband, daughter and I to stay for a long weekend. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and having a fridge in the room was nice. Mitch and Mary are wonderful hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

The Quarry house guest bedroom suite was as listed and we had everything we needed for a lovely weekend get-away. Mitch and Mary are wonderful hosts (and even helped with some tools for an impromptu bike repair). The location is perfect - quiet yet convenient. It was a 10-15 minute bike ride or 5 minute car ride into Fish Creek. We’d love to stay there again.

The Quarrey house was so, so special. Mary and Mitch are an absolute delight and made our stay really memorable.Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.I highly recommend taking a tour of Mitch’s gallery. His work is really wonderful.I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is the most lovely of properties. Mitch and Mary are wonderful hosts. There was nothing we were left wanting for here. The gardens are beautiful. The building is beautiful. They offer many areas for sitting and relaxing or entertaining yourselves.This place is just a bit outside of Fish Creek - about one songs worth of a drive into town. But it was so nice to have access to Fish Creek without the hustle of all the crowds. It would be walkable, if you are into that. Easy in and out. Parking is great. Super clean, and all the needed amenities. When we had a minor issue, Mitch was right there to help us out. The only word of caution is that both rental units are up stairs. This was not a problem for us. Make sure you spend some time with the hosts. They will give you a tour of their beautiful and unique home. It is incredibly built!

We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our 44th anniversary. Everything was just as we’d hoped, even more. It was so beautiful and quiet in the woods. Close to Fish Creek, but not too close. Wonderful hosts too. Hope to return soon,

This is a great spot just outside Fish Creek for everything! Hosts were always available and made us and our little dog feel very welcome. Lots of green space! Well appointed room for those who don't cook in (we love to eat out here!). Penninsula Players Theater was awesome, so was the sunset cruise. We've been coming to Door for years and love a good fish boil at Pelletiers, and love Seaquist Orchard, Summertime Restaurant, and Dovetail Bar and Griil. Colors were splendid. Thanks so much to Mary and Mitch!!

The room in Quarry House was just what we needed for our first trip to Door County. We spent all our time outdoors and just needed a place to sleep and call home for a week. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The hosts, Mary and Mitch, could not be nicer and were very attentive to our needs. They also graciously gave us a very interesting tour of their unique home. We would definitely stay at Quarry House again. PS They were also very kind to our pup - always a plus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed being in the country and the location was perfect for us.

Great people. Mitch and Mary do meet you when you drive in. They are at the property the entire time. They great you when you come in and out each time. Very friendly, but you do have to be ok with someone always being there. We would stay here again if we had the opportunity.

We stayed the weekend here and the hosts were there to welcome us and show us in and the space. The room we rented was very spacious and the bathroom was very nice with an excellent large shower. If you like soft beds and pillows, I’d recommend you bring your own pillows and a heads up the Queen bed is very firm. The hosts were nice to put in a window AC unit because of the heat. I’d recommend considering a quiet one as it was very loud and hard to sleep with it right by our head. I know this was just a temporary fix to make the temp cooler, which we appreciated. We would recommend this place and really loved the location and hosts. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful property, very quiet and clean. Owners are very nice people. A couple of suggestions would be…more seating please. Rocking chair was not comfortable. The TV was difficult to figure out and would appreciate a streaming service. Please change the listing that says two queen beds…there is only one!
