The house (outside) was exactly as described. Very large spaces parking for 3 vehicles. Close to everything. The inside was less then impressive, based on other stays we have had on the island for the same price. Dirty:Knife block (scissors) , both couches need scrubbed, could not use the oven as is was not clean, we got the florida rain daily and they have a roof leak that flooded the 2nd and 3rd bedroom door ways. Then randomly an older man showed up mid afternoon to do something to the pool and leave. We were never told anyone would be coming to do anything to the pool. The place has amazing potential, but you can tell their priority is making the money because of location, rather than investing into their property. It was a great vacation as we love marco island, but we would not stay at this house again.

My family and I really enjoyed this house and it is perfect for vacation. The house was clean and neat when we first got there and so was the pool. It is also a short distance from the beach.

Everything was great with just one exception, the house was not clean enough, it seems that the families that stayed before had pets and the sofa, floor and the beds had hair all over, we had to clean and wash the sheets on the first day, but even with that it was great overall, I would definitely go again.

We liked the house. But some things didn’t go well. We had 2 major issues. I paid 300 to heat the pool. On arrival the pool was not warm. On weekends, renters are told to not call about pool heat (or ants) or risk a 150 charge. The temp is remotely controlled by the homeowner. The host contacted them. The temp was raised. But there were more times when the temp dropped. But the heat was off 12 hours daily. Once the sun went down, the pool cooled, and no one wanted to be in the water. There was an ant infestation. After the weekend, the host called an exterminator. They sprayed outside 2 days later. Dead ants were everywhere with more each day. We woke to numerous ants on the bed. I sent pics & videos to the host. They suspected the queen ant was in the attic but required the home be vacant for 10-12 hours to spray more powerful chemicals. We had no plans to be out of the house that long. And we weren’t comfortable with coming back after spraying more powerful chemicals. They were keen to point out “according to our terms and conditions, the property was not deemed uninhabitable.”The host offered to reimburse 300 pool heating cost and a lowball amount for one night of my cost. But I had to forgo my right to write a review. They said, “It is the policy to process any refund, we must receive written confirmation via email or other, that there will be no review posted about your stay, the home, or host on any website.” I chose to write this review.

We spoke with the property managers, about an issue. They were helpful and the problem was solved. The view from the lanai is so nice.

Property well located on island for shopping/restaurants/etc. Quiet neighborhood. Home layout nice for two or could well accomodate a larger group. Pool and lanai area are nice. Especially nice view from lanai overlooking wide canal. Saw the most spectacular sunset we ever saw on Marco.

Marco Island is definitely a resort/condo on the beach/boat friendly community. This is a beautiful, roomy and well-stocked home on a canal in the middle of the island. The house in a nice, quiet central location. It was very clean and comfortable for our group of six adults and our dog, with room to spare! The kitchen, laundry and storage areas had everything you could possibly need, so no need to pack all the extras! The dock with the covered tiki hut and grill was a great place to hang out and we spent most of our time under the lanai at the pool. Only two issues: The management team was very responsive, during office hours, however, those are limited and you risk a hefty fine if you contact them for non emergency issues outside of those hours. I understand the policy, but they are closed Sat/Sun (the day of check-in/check-outI) and only open 10-5 Mon-Fri. As a former property owner/renter myself, I can’t imagine being available to my guests during these two key times for guests, especially when paying a hefty management fee in addition to everything else (cleaning, pet, pool, using a credit card for payment, etc….) I highly recommend renting a golf cart! The beach is NOT a four min. drive/10 min. walk!! It is an 8 min drive (per Waze), 10 min. bike ride and closer to a 30 min walk. Public parking is $10-$15/per day, depending on which public lot you choose, it’s EXTREMELY limited and absolutely no parking on the streets. This was disappointing, especially since so many of
