Great Summer Rental Close to Beach

Was very impressed with everything. The house is perfect and so close to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of street parking and driveway room. quiet area. We will definitely be returning.

Mixed feelings about this property. The pros, the property is in a great location. Great access to the beach (includes 4 tags which is a nice plus) and a short walk to boardwalk, shops and restaurants. The apt has most of the basics for cooking. Didn't cook that much, but had all the basics for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Marilyn is also easy to contact and very responsive. When we checked in there were a few items in short supply. Was able to contact her and she was able to get us the supplies that night. The negatives, the size and quality of the apartment. We were a family of 4 and it felt a little tight with 4 people, especially in the living area. Regarding quality, furniture/appliance look outdated and things just didn't feel sturdy. For instance the toilet handle broke off and the the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. My main disappointment was the parking situation. I believe this property has 4 apt. units. The driveway is long and can easily accommodate 4 vehicles, however the width of the driveway can only wide enough for 2 vehicles. Meaning that at any give time, depending on your parking position, you have the potential to be blocked in. I was in apt#5 and got blocked in by another resident. Resident was not home so I had to carefully maneuver my vehicle out of the driveway. I was told that I needed to coordinate with other residents and work it out for parking. Was eventually able to coordinate with the other property manager, Bob, and resident and figured out a compromise. This was a bit frustrating since this parking situation was never mentioned in the property description. Not very convenient if you have to coordinate with another resident to pull your car out. Most of my issues with property are purely subjective and may not be an issue with someone else. However I was coming out of state and drove a great distance so I was somewhat disappointed with the overall quality of the property and the parking situation.

We had such a fabulous time, it was just what we needed. You are close to beach and have lovely bbq area. If you want a chill holiday, staying close to home this is your place! We truly loved it!!!thanks to Marilyn our host, she is a star!!!!
