Great River Views, walk to Beach !

We had a great time staying at the Beachcomber III. The place is much bigger than it looks!! There was room for the whole family! We also loved being so close to the water but still in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood! Plus the owner is very responsive and friendly! We will definitely be back!

Weekend trip to Colonial Beach. The house was great. Lots of room, clean, view and close to everything. Cathy (owner) was wonderful!

This property is perfect for a weeklong getaway for adults, and also for kids and grandparents. It has three separate queen size bedrooms each with bath, making it perfect for our group of 3 single ladies. The master bath is handicap accessible. There’s also a bedroom with two twin beds.Two separate living spaces with TV make it perfect for families with kids!The photos do not do it justice, it is a large space.We loved the view of the river across the park in front, and it’s a quick trip down the street to the beach.Hosts were nearby and very helpful. If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would!

Great place, Hosts went out of the way to help us with accessibility, we enjoyed our stay and loved the sunrises and walks along the water. Plenty of restaurants close by. Looks deceiving, much bigger than expected.

Kathy has offered a superbly appointed home containing a gorgeous view in a perfect location. She is attentive and proactive in her communications. There should be no hesitation for any one who is considering utilizing the home. Pet friendly too/thank you. Nicely done, Kathy!

**A Perfect Family Getaway at Colonial Beach!** Our recent stay at a beach cottage in Colonial Beach was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The cottage was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the spacious living area was perfect for family game nights and relaxation. The location was unbeatable! Just a short walk from the beach, we spent our days enjoying the peaceful shoreline, watching our dog run joyfully along the beach, and admiring the unique water rocks scattered along the edge. There was a lovely park right across the street, which made it easy to keep the kids entertained, and the dog-friendly neighborhood was a bonus for our furry family member. In the evenings, we enjoyed the stunning sunsets and made use of the cottage's outdoor space for grilling and star gazing. What made this trip even more special was how family-friendly everything was. The kids loved the open spaces to play, and our pup felt right at home in the welcoming community. Overall, this beach cottage gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. It’s a destination we’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable family getaway. We can’t wait to return!

We loved this location and the size and comfort of the house. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to the area. The house is roomy and near many restaurants and a couple beach areas.

We enjoyed returning to this beautiful and luxurious property. The fact that it has a gorgeous view of the water and is a very short walk to a lovely beach makes this a perfect vacation spot. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and the washer and dryer are great as well. Looking forward to returning in the future!

The Beachcomber III was a perfect house for our family getaway. Close to the beach and everything we needed!

Nice home, little misleading with closeness to beach, listed hot tub but was none. For the most we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
