Great location - beautiful and unique nature on the North Sea - Blokhus, Saltum

We had two wonderful summer-weeks in this great house, near the wonderful sea. The accomodation has everything you need, a cosy living-room and beautiful terraces. Very quiet and peaceful and a lot of opportunities for nice day-trips with children. All in all perfect. Thanks a lot to Søren, who was very friendly and helpful in every communication!

Very peaceful and the house had a great location. The two terasses complete with table and chairs on both of them made it possible to sit wherever the sun was. None of the neighbouring properties were able to see into the space were the house was. Very clean and very well equiped kitchen. Very good communication with the host.

We found a very cosy house that is not too small even for a family of five. The terraces are wonderful and the fireplace quickly creates a cosy warmth in autumn. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including sharp knives, which is not usually expected in a holiday home. High praise! The only downer is that you have to clean the house yourself. This is not a problem in principle, but not all guests take it equally seriously. Nevertheless, we can highly recommend the house.

The three weeks we spent in the house had been amazing! The house is cosy, offers everything you need and the surroundings are beautiful. We had to get used to cars driving along the beach, but the sand and waves made up for it. Definitely recommended for a great family holiday! Also thanks for the very friendly service by the owners!

We spent a wonderful vacation in this amazingly beautiful house. It is in the middle of the nature and near to the sea. It has all what let you feel comfortable. From the first moment we felt home there. The house stands alone, so you have calm all the time. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen has all you need and the living room is cozy and with a lovely atmosphere. You can sit on the front and the back outside, which is great. And we had a happy welcome with cool drinks and warm words of the landlord and his wife. It was definitely not the last vacation there and we are looking forward to come back.

We were welcomed very warmly by Dorthe who gave us a quick tour of the surroundings and even made sure we had some nice cold drinks for when we arrived,... a perfect start to our holiday. The house is separated from all the neighbours as it is surrounded by trees, and it is also away from the road which gives a lovely cosy, isolated and intimate feeling which is just what we were after. The house was completely clean from top to bottom and we felt at 'home' straight away. The walk to the beach takes only around 7 minutes, and you can also drive down there directly in only a couple. When you get there, wow, what an amazing beach! Great waves, nice and warm water for swimming and when it was too windy to be on the beach, there was plenty of sand dunes set back from the water to shelter and camp out for the day. All in all a wonderful, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.

This spacious cottage is well equiped and beautifully situated. It offered peace and quiet for us parents as well as fun and adventure for our kids (three teenagers). This is due to the wonderful beach that is within walking distance, but can also be accessed by car, and the fact that Farup Sommerland is near. At an half hour's drive there's Aalborg, excellent for shopping, visiting the zoo etc. Within a 5 minutes' drive you are in Hune though, where there's ample opportunity to get everyday groceries. The cottage itself is situated in the dunes, on a spacious lot, which ensures a quiet retreat. Deer walked through our front yard regularly! The owners respond quickly to emails and issues. The dishwasher broke during our stay and within a day a new one was installed. Also the fridge was stocked with beverages upon arrival. A holiday cottage highly recommended!
