We had a wonderful stay at this property! The mountain setting was beautiful and it was a perfect family retreat setting. We loved the ping pong table, etc in the lower level. The home was clean and comfortable.

The house was well stocked, communication was great.

The place has some downsides - we couldn't get the downstairs TV to work, the air hockey table and ping pong table are generally not working, and the shuffleboard table needed sand. That said, it was substantially cheaper than most properties on the mountain, so we had modest expectations, and the value for the price was there.

The kitchen was well equipped, with old and in poor condition pots and pans. The sponges in kitchen were dirty and old.The entire house needs fumigated as we encountered roaches in kitchen. One of the adults had a spider crawl on his face as he was waking up to get out of bed. Also the day bed couch had crumbs in the mattress and dust and dirt under it. The wall plugs aren't functional in room with single bunk bed. Attempt to load photos of grill and fireplaces failed. The grill does not appear to be usable, as we did not attempt because it's rusted. Both fireplaces were not cleaned of accumulation of ashes. The downstairs shower was not operational, as Lee had to come over to lubricate handle. I thanked him and also informed him of a few of the issues mentioned. There was not backup toilet tissue in the master bathroom. Also, it would be extremely helpful to place a sign under one of the outdoor switches informing guests of flood lights. Not knowing made walking down the stairs at night rather precarious.

Overall it was clean. The linens has stains which doesnt mean dirty but it is off putting. lots of crickets are able to get in which is also not ideal.Beds were very comfortable! all the furniture was nice. We preferred the large living room upstairs. Unfortunately the only smart TV was downstairs in the smaller communal space...The wifi and cable DID NOT work. We weren't too bothered but this was annoying. we wanted to use the smart tv and couldnt get it connected.the house felt poorly stocked. Not enough tp. no extra trash bags. this is fine i just wish i had expected it. Also the remotes had no batteries and the smoke detector kept beeping. They provided replacements the next day but we had a short stay so this was a bit inconvenient...Nice house. Cheap for so much space and good location. Thanks for hosting!

Beautiful view, well organized inside, clean, and comfortable, had a great stay

Great for multiple families! Super well stocked kitchen. The immersion blender totally saved my guacamole. There were even tons of spices!I wish it was closer to Shenandoah, but for the price we were happy to drive 30 minutes to the hike that we wanted to do. The host was really responsive and very accommodating.

With spring rainy season, the steep driveway was a challenge upon arrival. The house was as expected and provided a great atmosphere for our family gathering. Very pleased with the well stocked kitchen. The downstairs shower had little water pressure so we had to use the upstairs shower. Would come again.

Perfect house for three family groups. 5 bedrooms & lots of space. We cooked all meals at home over our 3 night stay. The adults & kids enjoyed the pool at fitness center , and mini golf.kids enjoyed

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a really pretty home. it was spacious enough room for me and my kids. However, there was 0 water pressure. I couldn't get the shower in master bedroom to come on. It was just a drizzle. Few bugs (dead) on down stairs couch. However, for a two night stay we were overall happy. Driveway is a little scary. If it wasn't for water pressure, i would rent againpt down down stairs

House has plenty of space for a large group -Is great for gatherings or multiple families . It worked great for our group and the game room was nice to have . Games were missing ping pong balls / Fooseball was missing ball . Cabinet door was missing and some upgrades don’t appear to be done well. Water pressure was fine when only one thing was on but could not be used when two were on . Over all we would stay again for a larger group

Our family ski trip was a success. Michelle’s place was very cozy. The beds were amazing and very comfortable. I think the little touches she gives the place made it very pleasant for us. It was very spacious and if you wanted some quiet time you can find it. I thought the downstairs was nice for our young adults to hangout. We would surely stay again

Property was convenient nice little property. It could’ve been cleaner. I understand. It’s a pet friendly house but housekeeping could do a much better job. The AC filter in the living was filthy and some boards could use replacing on the walkway to the house. The kids skis in the house were a plus, I believe it was listed to have a snowboard as well but that wasn’t there. I’m sure someone “forgot” to return it. Owner was great at working with us and communication and the game room was a huge plus. The only downfall to the property was housekeeping.

The price point for this property was appealing, however, our stay was not what we hope for. The refrigerator was not working properly and required us to defrost and clean out the freezer. Internet/cable did not work at all. Between the property manager and the host, neither of these problems were address during our week-long stay. The host did offer an 11% discount/refund, but it didn't make up for the inconvenience. The general cleanliness of the place was lacking. There was rodent poison on the kitchen counters and in the cabinets. The air returned was completely felt with dust and debris. There was broken furniture and trash in the yard.The grill was filthy and unusable.

House was disgusting! If no star could be given...the house it self was esthetically pleasing and spacious but the housekeeping was atrocious and unimaginable. My family had to clean everything from the linen to the refrigerator, purchasing cleaning supplies, pillows and shower curtains. The pillows looked liked they came from the trash and the shower curtain had definitely seen better months and years, they were disgusting! When trying to report these issues, the POC was said to relay the message to the owner and we were never contacted or compensated. The pictures tell the story! Do not recommend and will never use this app or owner again!

Perfect for a long weekend

Booked the stay for parents weekend. Had some issues getting a hold of the property manager but it was resolved quickly by the owner. Water pressure needs work and some of natures little beasties came a calling while we were there but given it’s in the middle of the woods what can you expect. Listing need to be updated states is a 5 bed room but only 4 are set up.

The property is nice and was very clean inside. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.

This was a great space for our family to stay simply for the game room and the multiple living rooms. The sleeping arrangements got tricky due to the arrangement of the beds. Overall it was great! We would definitely stay here again!
