Great, quiet location. The cottage was clean and well stocked with basics and a few more kitchen accessories than most. The most comfortable bed away from home. Host were friendly and the posting is accurate.

The house was clean and had everything we needed , loved the back deck overlooking the lake . The only downside was not much room not walk the dogs around . Close to our favorite trails . Overall great time relaxing for a few days . We would definitely stay again .

Clean and cozy house right on the water! We enjoyed the porch and fishing dock a majority of the time!! The kayaks and lily pad were a great addition!! The beds were super cozy and all the amenities were very nice! Memories were made while relaxing and spending quality time! We'll be back!

Far exceeded our expectations. Very clean lake-house without the smell of a lake-house. Great access to swimming off the dock with a senior friendly ladder to get out of water. The patio is shaded with a grill and comfy seating. Excellent property that we intend to use again!! Thanks wonderful host & hostess!

Perfect quiet get-a-way!

Grandma's Getaway, was just that. It is a quaint, cute place on a fabulous piece of water. Every detail was hit from the fabulous bedding (same sheets as I use) to the wonderful towels.The house is small, but perfect! One main bedroom (no door) with an en suite bathroom (only bathroom). There is another bedroom with two twin beds accessed from the main bedroom. But that room does have a door. Instructions were clear and concise. The patio was almost always shaded and VERY clean. The doc isn't much further of a walk and it was also very clean and perfect for swimming or fishing. Neighbors are great, location is great.We will be back again!

We had such a good time we extended this trip a day longer. The fish were biting right by the dock and the kids had a blast catching them! Loved having access to the kayaks and paddle boats, such a good perk not to have to drag our own. Highly recommend this peaceful place to escape and relax as a family or with friends. We will be back!

We had a great stay here! The property was perfect for our stay as a young family! Our toddlers enjoyed getting rides in the paddle boat and the dock area is perfect for swimming in your own space! We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit out back on the patio as well! The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and simple and Jonna made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean with the only exception being some pet hairs around the house (which is to be expected at a pet friendly location, so no big deal to us). Overall, we would definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants a fun or relaxing getaway!

Perfect for our quick get-a-way. Very clean, quiet, cozy and comfortable. We cooked on the outside gas grill and had a fire in the firepit. We had a very relaxing stay, and highly recommend the Get-A-Way to others.

Had a very nice weekend playing golf at the local course and relaxing evenings.

We were so pleased with the property and location! The home was clean and it gave us a great place for our little girl to explore and use her walking skills. The dock was great and we were able to catch many fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This house was just what we wanted. Quiet location on the water. Clean and neat with very good beds. Well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The roads getting to the house were the reason for the 4 star rating. Steep, narrow, gravel road full of ruts which made for a very uncomfortable trip in or out. Directions to the house from where we had to dock the boat were also unclear. We came to fish but the weather didn’t cooperate but that was no one’s fault. If the house was in a different location or the roads were better, we would go back in a heartbeat. Jonna and John were very good to us and even called to see if we were okay after a heavy storm. If you can take the road getting to the house, I’d say you will love it there.

We stay at Grandmas every year! It is always relaxing. Owners keep the home very clean! Fishing was good this trip!

We had a great stay at Grandma's. The house is quaint, quiet, and exactly what we needed. It seems they might have done some upgrades as everything looked nice and new. Very lovely. The hosts were great and we would definitely stay again!

The host was responsive, weeks before we even went! Everything was clean and ready for us. The weather was perfect, helping us to fully enjoy the whole outdoor area. Thanks again!!

This was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at (seriously, I feel like I need to clean my house when I get home haha). Excellent communication from the owner. Located on a small cove off the river with a nice private boat slip. Trailer parking was a bit tricky but totally doable with a 16’ fishing boat. Lots of great hiking in the area and super close to lake Truman. Another plus is that the town of Warsaw is charming and has everything you need.

Was a very nice house very clean great location, peaceful we are seniors, but we enjoyed the sunroom and just relax staring at the lake. Definitely recommend it was awesome.

This property is wonderful. Clean, comfy, everything you need to cook meals, and a very comfortable bed. The Host is very nice and contacted us a couple of hours after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. Walmart a short distance away. The ceiling are a little low, so if you are very tall it may be a problem.

This home is perfect for a girls getaway.

I have been coming to loto area for many years. Have stayed in my place there and around. By far one of the best places. The paddle boat was amazing at sunset. Really close to warsaw. About an hour twenty from the lake ozark. They even had the lovely neighbors turn the lights on for us because we where really late getting there.

Very cozy and clean. They have everything you need. It really feels like your Grandmothers home.

It was a beautiful, cozy and super clean house. Everything you could think of was provided. We brought our own water toys, but they had a variety on the property. Loved having a private dock and a nice deck/patio with a grill and fire pit. 10/10.

This was a great place to spend the weekend. We fished and swam off the dock, then took the paddle boat for a cruise around the cove. We hiked at Harry S. Truman State Park, had good Mexican food at El Camino Real, and made s’mores with the fire pit. We were also close enough to rent a boat on Truman Lake. Grandma’s getaway was clean, comfortable, and cozy! Would definitely go back. Felt like our own private little house and dock, which is pretty impressive during the crowded summer season.

We had a great time at Grandma’s Getaway! Lovely, clean property on the water. Beautiful views and quiet location. Loved that we could bring our dog and she could enjoy the time outside with us. We rented a boat and it was awesome we could pull it up to the house and then take it out to go fishing and swimming! Kayaks were great for exploring the inlet.

We had some wonderful family days by the water with lots of swimming and some kayaking in this quiet cove. That and the shaded terrace were perfect in the heat. And the house offered everything we needed, TV for the Olympics and well equpped kitchen for cooking.

We were so happy to stay here. It was my son, my mom and myself. We had a blast and got some good family time in. It was a great space. Thanks you
