My family and I decided to stay here because our previous VRBO was canceled so we had to last minute Find a new place to stay. Luckily, I stumbled upon this place it was way cheaper than what we originally were paying for and it suited all of our needs. It was very clean it was located in Summerhill the area We stayed in was very nice. The only complaint I think I have is the bugs there were a lot of mosquitoes near the door entrance and also towards the back patio. A couple of friends and I got bit but it was nothing major. The house is across the street from a park which is pretty convenient we stay during the Fourth of July and you were able to see the fireworks and it was very beautiful. Very well conditioned and it stayed very cool inside during the summer when it gets hot in Atlanta so my family And I we took advantage of every bite of that haha. Also, there was a lot of good food places around as well. Overall my family and I had a really good time I definitely would recommend.

My party and I were never let in to the house. The host claimed to have been asleep, but all of his excuses weren’t adding up. I find it very unprofessional and careless to fall asleep while being aware of my arrival. He kept mentioning a party that I was not having. I never gave him the impression that I was having one. I was very clear and explained to him that I have friends and family coming from out of town and we just wanted to have a covid friendly weekend for my birthday (games, movies, cooking etc.). He was very paranoid and I personally feel if he was that uncomfortable he shouldn’t be renting out a house in the first place. I ended up working later than expected so a relative that was staying with me arrived before me and the host would not let him in after he drove 13 hours. When I told him the code wasn’t working, he said, “it is. Try again” (it was not). He has a camera on his doorbell and I felt as if he was profiling my guest. He made the assumption that he didn’t book the house and that he’d go inside and have a party (by himself because he was the only person that was there). The whole thing was stupid and his explanations didn’t make sense. He didn’t even get back to me until almost noon the next day and he claimed to have fallen asleep around 8, 9:00PM.... that’s a long time to be asleep. He even went as far as blocking some of my guests numbers because we were all calling him and some of us would get a ring, others went straight to voicemail. We ended up booking a hotel last minute and this man’s carelessness literally forced me to change my birthday plans and spend more money than I planned on. Outside of the host, the company itself is no good. I sent an email to customer service and called several times and never got through or received a response. I will never book through VRBO again. Still never received a FULL refund because they’re practically unreachable. The entire experience was inconvenient, embarrassing and insulting. I had mostly women with me and the thought of being locked outside in an unfamiliar neighborhood after traveling is not safe or ideal. It’s inconsiderate and just rude. I paid for this house to provide my guests with a place to stay and what was supposed to be a fun celebratory weekend for myself, became added stress. 0 stars for me

I do not even know where to begin. A group of us flew to ATlanta for the weekend because my nephews just moved there a year ago. I found this house that would accommodate those of us that were going to be visiting. ‼️First red flag‼️ at first it said 10 guest once I was booked the posting changed to 8. It was NO PROBLEM because I only needed 4. The house looked really nice and I felt good about the location. When we get to the house the outside was groomed well. My nephews met us there. Literally 10 min while bringing our luggage in I get a text asking,” Tiffinie are you having a party?” I counted and there were 11 people in total. ALL FAMILY. I explained to him no. He said he needs to know if there will be other people. As the day is going he keeps texting me about people. Keep in mind I have family who live here and some have traveled to Atlanta and got separate sleeping arrangements. Same 11 people in all. Now just to add we were out and about all day. I’m getting most of these texts while I’m site-seeing, shipping and gathering with family. I’m the cool Aunt plus the house was spacious so it was the meet up spot for all 11 to go out for the night. As the night went on three of them got intoxicated and stayed the night. I didn’t think much of it because the house clearly stated accommodations for 8. The owner calls me and informs me that even though it says 8 the 1200 (approximately) that I was being charged would go up. He says that after one person you get charged per person. I read his policies and it did not specify that a guest would be charged per person. Not only do you pay for the house and all it’s fees but then he charged me an additional 350 to accommodate the amount of people that were allowed. Which keep in mind only 7 stayed there. Now I will say the house is VERY clean. The location is perfect. Even the cleaning lady is pleasant. The owner however, found a way to “milk the cow” for sure. So please do not get easily comfortable with the vague fine print. It stated up to 8 then more guess $25 each. Never added up. I did not go back and forth with the owner. I just paid it. I just want to warn possible guests to be careful because he will add costs. 1600 later (approximately). Knowing that he was hovering watching counting and monitoring our stay there made my stay uncomfortable. I have houses I rent out in Austin. I completely understand that you monitor your properties. This was to disrupting our vibe and time.
