Grand Lakefront Home in Hartwell w/ Game Room!

The only thing that we would like to have had was extra toilet paper and paper towels.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and was large enough for our group of 23 people for a family reunion. The cleaners were still at the home when we arrived after our 4 pm check in time so we did have to wait a bit before they left. A couple of things to note, the 3 bedrooms on the top floor which has a room with one king, another room with 2 queens and a 3rd room with 3 double beds all share one bathroom. Which we did not expect. Essentially there were 10 of us to one bathroom on that floor. We did have to bring air mattresses for several people as the “sleeps 24” description would require everyone to share a bed. If you have teenagers, then this might be something to he aware of as ours did not want to share a double bed. The king bedroom upstairs stayed 80 degrees until 11 pm when it then started cooling down. The host was responsive when I brought this to her attention and we decided that it was fine since it eventually cooled down. Just something to know in case you have a child that takes naps. I would avoid that room. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was great otherwise for our family reunion. There were not cushions for the metal chairs on the deck which was a bit uncomfortable. I would recommend appointing the outdoor seating for comfort better. The home was clean and perfect for our family reunion. Thank you for letting us share your beautiful spot!

Property had a ton of amenities that keep both adjust and kids alike happy! Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The large walk-in pantry and second fridge were so helpful accommodating our large group!

Property was perfect for our family reunion. Lots to do and lots of space. But upon arrival we found the property was not in good shape. Three of us had to spend a few hours cleaning to get it ready for the rest of our group. Disappointing considering the rent was not inexpensive!

The 1st day/night was cold, it was 28 degrees out side. Certain floors in the house was unbearable, tried to turn on the fireplaces (no gas) contacted Kim and she stated the fire places don’t work for safety concerns. I understand because all people may not know how to work a fireplace. Kim said the thermostat are controlled remotely & they would adjust the heat but it would take a while. We never got worm, the following day, Eric a neighbor came by to look at the heat. 2 of the 4 heat pump units needed service and he needed to return later that day with an HVAC Vendor. Night 2 was much better and we were able to enjoy the game room & Karaoke! The interior of the house was beautiful the images on the site are nice but it looks better in person. As we were departing because our family trip time was ending, the garage door would not open & had to manually open it to remove our vehicle. I informed Kim & she said they make a note to check it. Our moms from the Moms on a Mission Wellness Community really felt at home in this space! From the names on the doors, to the decor, dock, and multiple common areas we were really able to provide them with a holistic health experience to release the stress of motherhood! The towels on the bed and bathroom amenities made hosting them easier for me so I appreciated that. Then my family of five enjoyed the final night for my husband's birthday and the kids LOVED it! That's harmony! Thanks Kim for this beautiful home! We will certainly be back

Pro:Big house with lots of rooms, suitable for a large groupCon:Felt a bit bare bones, little details like rooms without chest of drawers or closet, lots of shared bathrooms, no good furniture on upper deck area, really uncomfortable bench by fire pit, just seems like the place was optimized to turn a profit as a rental and not really lived in

We stayed there as a group of 15 for family reunion. The house was very comfortable for that amount of people. The game room and basement were great congregation area. Only complaint was we couldn't get the projector to work for television or movies. Seemed like internet issue. The dock was a close walk and back porch and patio were great for afternoon drink. Bedrooms were very nice. House was very clean and owner was quick to respond. *the only complaint is the kitchen didn't have much to use for cooking. We are a family that cooks every night and very minimal pots, pans, or utensils for serving. Overall great weekend

We had 5 families, for a group of 21 people. The home was very clean, spacious and wonderfully set up. There was plenty of space for the kids to hang out in the game room/ media room, play their video games, and run around outside. The adults had their space and could relax as needed/wanted. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary items to make meals for 21 people. The dock was fantastic, the kids loved playing in the lake, floating on the rafts we brought. It was fun and by all. There were only a few minor issues experienced, but as soon as I contacted Kim, everything was quickly rectified, same day if not next day. Those issues were internet connection, rectified same day, large active wasp nest, notified on a Sunday, rectified Monday morning, and trash was pretty full when we first arrived, the previous renters did not put the cans out, however, I reached out to Kim and a special priority pickup was scheduled for the next morning. Overall, the response time was nearly immediate and extremely professional and courteous. We highly recommend this home and couldn’t have asked for a better lake house for all of us to be together.

Everyone Loved It!!! Everyone had enough room and we did not feel on top of each other. There was something to do for every age range so no one was ever board. Unfortunately, we did have a couple of problems like no internet so we couldn't stream and the ladder attached to the dock was not safely attached and ended up falling on my son. The first night we had the property manager come out and address the internet but never heard back from them. Called and left a message about the ladder and no one called back. Overall we loved the property and the stay but wished communication was a little better.
