3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home in the town of Crested Butte. Quiet location with yard.



The Space:

This is a charming home on the coveted west end of town!  It sits on a maturely landscaped lot with fabulously tall trees that shade the home in the summer and provide privacy year round.



The main floor of the house is set up with 2 separate living spaces, a fully equipped and very functional kitchen, a primary bedroom with queen bed and en suite bath. There is a smart TV in this room that works with apps only.  There is a lovely patio off of the primary bedroom to enjoy the warmth of summer.  While there you'll enjoy the mature garden beds to add a little color to your day. The cozy den in the rear of the main living floor has a large TV, lots of games and a relaxing feel to it. There is a large dining table with plenty of room for all guests to convene for a meal. The front sitting room has a gas fireplace and natural light making this room appealing for an afternoon with your book. The house has lots of great spaces to allow a quiet bit of time for anyone staying here. There is a full washer/dryer on the main floor.



The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, 1 shared bath and an open nook with a set of twin bunk beds.  The bedrooms have 2 twins in one and a queen in the other.



All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.



It is 2 blocks from the 100 block of Elk Ave, just far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity that Crested Butte has to offer and yet close enough to walk to anything.  



You are 3 blocks to the bus stop for the free town shuttle. The free Town Shuttle carries you between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. 



The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.

Quiet street that is a deadend so no through traffic.



Getting Around:

Take a right from the parking area of the house and than a right onto First St. When you get to Elk Ave, take a left and within a block you will be in the main business district of Crested Butte. If you then take a right on 2nd you will see the Old Town Hall and that is where the bus to the ski area will pick you up.

    This is a beautiful home! There were puzzles, games and books to enjoy during some downtime. It is a very easy walk to all the downtown stores and restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed for some baking. Check in was super easy. I gave skiing a neutral three stars because we visited in October. It’s off-season. So I can’t rate it at all. But we rented an ATV and enjoyed some beautiful trails. We will definitely come back!

    The five of us made it up for a winter visit, skiing and the whole nine yards. Gothic Charmer is in a very peaceful part of town, close to everything (walkable!) but basically set in an aspen glade beyond the through-traffic. Winter views of Crested Butte and a few peaks to the north. The cabin itself was peaceful, too, wonderfully low-key and cozy. It was neat to relax in the living room by the massive stone fireplace, set among walls of rough-hewn log, wood floors with nice rug, and a relaxed old-time feel. Overall, it was a nice mix of rustic and more modern. There’s a lot more room than you’d first think, too - nice quiet master suite in back to one side, rec room out in back on the other. Loved the stained glass flourish in the dining room. Kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The home was really well appointed, lots to cook with, lots of extra blankets and towels. We especially appreciated clean towels and bedding, without heavily-scented perfume :) Entry foyer had lots of room for boots and winter gear. Alpine Management was wonderfully responsive and hospitable, too, thank you! We had a question about the stove, got it straightened out in under an hour. They were definitely on top of snow removal, we arrived to two big off-street parking spaces, nice and clear, and the caretaker made sure we were happy with accommodations. We hope to stay again soon :)

    Great location if you like in-town Crested Butte. Easy walk to the bus stop and restaurants plus of street parking. The classic, log atmosphere and big stone fireplace made it a great hangout after skiing. It was a great choice!

    This was our second year staying at this home in crested butte and we loved it just as much this time as the last. The location is amazing, the accommodations are great, kitchen is great for cooking as a group, the fireplace is cozy (but very hard to turn off) and we look forward to coming back again next year!

    We love this property and have enjoyed multiple stays. The only downside this stay I would say was a slight decline in maintenance. Just needs a good deep clean/yard work and attention to detail (maybe some new pillows and a double check on appliance and fireplace function). Still love it and will be back!
