Gorgeous riverfront cabin with firepit, hot tub, central AC, & washer/dryer

Cabin was as advertised. View was better than expected. Location was convenient and quiet. We visit Ellijay every year with family and this was one of the nicer places we've stayed.

The barbecue grill needs to be changed

Our experience was stellar. Beautiful furniture including log beds! Loved the rocking chairs on the porch where it felt like we were in a tree house. Beautiful double fireplace and fire pit below. The creek (which was more like a river) was refreshing and the kids enjoyed playing on the tubes. Loved seeing the deer at the entrance a few times. No clutter. We will definitely be back!

There’s no way this cabin is not a 5 stars! As you walk in the cabin you feel peaceful, beautiful true wood cabin with high ceilings. As you walk out on to the huge back deck, you can hear the sound of the roaring creek. There’s a huge out door fireplace and new rocking chairs and dinning tables and chair to sit and enjoy the beauty of the back yard and creek. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and fit the cabin theme perfectly. The kitchen is large and stocked with every thing you will need to cook a great meal. We have already booked our next vacation at this beautiful cabin.

The location was a 10 for what we. wanted - the river in the backyard was amazing and we all enjoyed it! The cabin itself has the potential to be a 10 as well however, it needs some attention - it was surface clean which is what we expect with a rental home but, this one needs a deep cleaning soon or I'm afraid it's rating might go down drastically - the baseboards, window sills and painted walls all need attention. The covered back porch is one of the best features of the home but the cushions are worn and stained and in need of replacing. A deep clean and fresh coat of paint would greatly benefit this property. We would love to book this location in the future but would want to know that it had given some serious TLC before we did.

Location was amazing - river in the backyard was perfect! We spent most of our time enjoying the river - some just sat chairs in the water and others spent the day tubing. House has the potential to be just as great however, it needs some attention. Window sills and baseboards had dust and cobwebs and any wall that was painted had marks or stains. A deep clean and fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Covered back porch was so nice but furniture cushions were old, stained and in need of replacement. We would love to book this location again but I would want to know that a deep cleaning had been done!

The home was spacious and had all the things we needed to prepare our meals. The deck was amazing overlooking the creek where we floated on tubs. The air was out our entire stay so we were uncomfortable our entire stay.

This cabin is in a fantastic location and is super relaxing by the creek. However, this house is not being managed and maintained well. The furniture on the porch is in very poor shape and makes the porch basically unusable. The cleanliness of the cabin is an issue as well. Cobwebs, rat dropping and roaches were all witnessed in varying quantities. Lastly, during our stay both the upstairs and downstairs air conditioning units stopped working. Vacasa was responsive in fixing the first, but completely ignored our requests for service on the other unit.

We came in on Saturday and we left on Tuesday. The property is just as it is listed; it is spacious and beautiful.

Our group definitely had mixed feelings staying at this property.The good: the price was good, the location was great, the actual size of the property was great for our group, and the river in the backyard was very scenic. The bad: This property was not clean and lacked basic necessities. I cleaned something up off the floor and removed a whole layer of just grime/dirt off the floor. We had to buy extra trash bags, sponges, and dish soap. There was half a roll of toilet paper for our group of 10 which was problematic for a multi-night stay. The owners left a note saying to use a specific type of toilet paper due to the septic system. I called VRBO to see what type of toilet paper the owners would prefer but VRBO was not able to tell me. The other frustrating thing was that VRBO said they would bring our group toilet paper for our stay which of course was never delivered.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the property was beautiful and the view and weather were wonderful.

The home was safe behind a locked neighborhood. We had 6 women so the house fit us well. I love to cook so I was surprised at how well the cooking supplies were well stocked. We really enjoyed the river having tubing races (not pretty but fun) and putting the chairs in the river to just relax and talk. The only downside is upstairs, there is a bathroom and bedroom but the others in the shared bedroom have to come in for middle of the night bathroom activities. We are trying to talk our husbands into coming back next year though :) The host and the representatives are very responsive so if there is an issue, they come with solutions. Good job!!

Beautiful cabin on the creek! Very clean and we loved the location. We even had a family of deer walk out!

Upon arrival we smelled a horrible odor and heard odd noises in the front guest bedroom, after closer inspection we discovered a bat nested behind the window frame. Maintenance came out and discovered a gap in the wall allowing the bats to enter but wouldn’t be able to repair until after our scheduled checkout. We asked to at least plug the gap with something temporarily and so they did. They also advised us to close the bedroom door and not use the room, which wasn’t going to be used anyway due to the horrible smell. Beyond the bat infestation the home needs a deep cleaning, spider webs throughout the home. The creek view was nice and the home has tons of potential but needs proper maintenance.

Wow!!! This home has everything you need and the property is fantastic! We loved the river and plenty of wildlife that visited us during our stay. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely home! The creek in the back is perfect for kids floating and skipping rocks. The house was immaculate and well laid out. The porch was the place to be! And the master closet is big enough for a pack n play! The house was more than big enough for our family trip of 9!

Perfect for a retreat. It's isolated but not too far from other cabins that can be barely seen. The ambience was ideal. It overlooks the running water that provided the most soothing sound. It provided the space for all 11 to gather for discussion and group activities. We are blessed to have been there.

We had a great time at the cabin. Checkin was really easy when we arrived. The only issue we had is that inside the house there was a buch of spider/spiderwebs. I know that we should expect that out doors but even in the bathrooms you could see the webs. Before we could use the patio furniture we had to wipe down all the table and chairs. Some of the cushions had mold on them which I understood since they stay outdoors. This was a family getaway to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Overall our trip was amazing. We loved the water in the backyard! We would definitely stay again. Just a heads up the driveway is pretty steep going down. Walmart and ingles are really close by. Cant wait to vacation here again.
