Gorgeous, Raised Home Overlooking Lagoon w/Free WiFi, Central AC - Near Beaches

Excellent location. Great layout. Beautiful views. Right on the Bay. Large balcony. With a little TLC and upgraded furnishings, this place could be the bomb!!

Perfect location. Great views. Needs a couple of things added to furnishings, (coffee table and rugs)but not a big deal. Super comfortable. Could use a coat of outside paint, but that wouldn't stop me from staying there !

Amazing place. So quiet and peaceful. Wonderful wildlife. Just a short walk to Gulf beaches .

My wife and I loved the location and being able to literally walk 20 steps right to the bay side water. The sunset view was absolutely beautiful. Cannot think of anything else I could have done on this surprise trip for my wife to reign in a 30 year anniversary gift.

Check in was way easy. We enjoyed our little get away and will more than likely stay again in the future. We enjoyed the piece and quiet along with the seclusion of the property. Thanks again.

Our stay was wonderful. It was everything that I expected and more. It felt like I'm a little private beach. I will definitely rent this again in the future. Very clean reasonably close close to the beach

The place was absolutely gorgeous about 20 ft from the water. It's small and very quaint. Everything worked pretty good. Slept very well had a great experience.

Nice location, needs some updating to step stringers and posts, also shakes back and forth , and posts holding house up are rotten

Property was fine except the ants on the counter upon arrival and water bug between door.

When we arrived, the thermostat wouldn't work. I contacted the manager and someone was in the driveway in 20 mins. Ended up being the batteries and all worked well.Almost every shade in the house is broken and missing pieces and alot of the furniture is outdated. . Probably find a different spit in Gulf Shores for next year's beach trip.

With all that going on in life it's nice to have someplace to look forward to going to...it's nice, quiet, just relaxing....

We could not get the cable tv work. Disappointing

We arrived just after dark on a Friday evening. The house is NOT located where the map shows it to be and there are no visible numbers on the outside to aid you in finding it. We went to two different houses before we found it. Once inside is when our nightmare began! There was NO water and we could not find the outside shut off valve to turn it back on. We began calling the number for assistance at 6:50 p.m. The person that answered was in Oregon and could barely speak English and could not understand that we had no water. She refused to help me until I sent her a picture of the hot water heater! I repeatedly asked for a call back from a local representative and was assured I would get one. I was also told that it would be Monday before they could send someone to check the water!! I called back on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and was again told I would get a call back from a local representative immediately. At 1:40 p.m. on Saturday afternoon I got a text from someone claiming to be a local representative of the company wanting to know if we had been relocated to a new rental. I explained to this person that we had been forced to leave the rental and go to hotel and NOONE had contacted us about anything. After demanding a refund, I received an email saying I would be fully refunded. This property is most likely very nice and a good place to stay, but we will not be back!

This is our second stay at this place and we absolutely love it!! It’s so close to the water we can hear the waves crash inside which I absolutely love. The area is so quiet and peaceful. Everything is exactly as described about the place!

Came in after dark. No address on house and no lights on. Light on deck where keypad was at was actually tore off the wall. We used lights on phone to be able to get in. Once in everything was clean and nice.

This was the perfect size home for the two of us! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the nice deck overlooking the Lagoon and watching the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very peaceful!

First, we loved the location. The bay side is SO quiet and tranquil. The walk to the beach side was quick and easy. We had everything we needed, but the building needs some tender loving care. There was a lot of water underneath, so we couldn't use that part. When it rains, the walk to your car is gushy. Loved the privacy and view from the porch. It would be nice if part or all of the porch was covered to help keep things dry when it rains. The shower head is SO short you have to bend down to rinse off. They could use a new bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it's hard to beat this location!!

Herons Nest was absolutely amazing. From the cute home to right on the water we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Area was very quiet you could hear the waves and conveniently located to anything and everything you would want to do.
