Gorgeous lakefront home w/ dock, canoe, kayaks & lake/forest views

I would book this home again. It was beautiful, clean, plenty of room and we had all the necessary items for a comfortable 4 days. It was a quick walk down a beautiful path to get to green lake. This lake is clear, clean, and the area quiet. We were protected from the wind and couldn’t see any neighbors. Very private for swimming and sunbathing. We sat out on the dock every night to watch the sunset, so pretty. We used the kayaks and water toys at the house and didn’t turn the tv on once! We have teenagers so that should tell you how awesome this place is. So much more to explore, sad we had to leave. Ellsworth was maybe 15 minutes away for groceries or eating out. I read a review that docked stars because it was hard to find. Not true if you follow your gps. I also saw a review that docked stars because they couldn’t figure out the keypad to open the door, but they were using the wrong one! The keypad is on the deadbolt, easy peasy putting the code in, no issues.

We stayed two consecutive years but will not return. It feels the minimal is being done for the home in upkeep and care. The access to the water is the highlight of the stay. If the home is maintained as a rental property it will be a lovely place to stay, but it needs work and a deep, deep clean.

We had a great stay here. A perfect lake side cabin with all the amenities you'll need. Our kids loved casting off the dock. It was nice distance to go to Acadia as well.

Great place for us to relax and drink our coffee. Close to Acadia , we spent 3 days there. Also, close to Boothbay Harbor and other scenic and pretty towns. It was always good to return to the cabin and relax.

Property is beautiful. Loved the porch and having morning coffee watching the sun come up. Very spacious and comfortable. The view of the lake is amazing.

We stayed here in October while on a trip to Acadia and the house was perfect. It'd be fun to come back during the summer and enjoy the lake.

A beautiful house on the lake. We really enjoyed our time kayaking and fishing on the lake. The property is just as it was described. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet spot to get away and relax.
