Enjoy a tremendous view of Pike’s Peak mountain along with abundant wildlife in the beautiful Colorado Rockies. This newly-remodeled vacation rental home sits at 9,200 feet adjacent to the Pike National Forest. The cabin is perfect for couples, a family, several couples,, or anyone wanting to relax in the mountains any season of the year. This location allows guests to step out of a private mountain home into eight acres of alpine forest, with a short walk to a national forest. This vacation spot offers the best of all worlds; a comfortable home base for relaxing, exploring, and sightseeing, with the conveniences of home; a forest playground; plus the amenities from nearby cities.

This home is equipped with satellite TV both upstairs and downstairs. The two big screen TVs and DVD players are great for watching movies. Visitors will also enjoy the high-speed wireless internet access and the unlimited phone service for both local and long distance calls.

This is an immaculate home with new beds, furnishings, and appliances. The driveway goes to the front door. The cabin features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with adjacent dining room, a great room upstairs, and a cozy family room in the lower level. The kitchen, great room, and dining room are open for comfort and convenience. Both the upstairs great room and the lower level family room provide great gathering spots with large windows that bring in the sun and make it easy to view the mountains and wildlife.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, utensils, dishes, and pans. A propane grill on the deck is available for outdoor grilling. All you need to bring is your food. The washer and dryer are provided with laundry soap and softener sheets. The towels and bedding are washed on high temperatures. The outdoor deck provides an exquisite daytime view of Pike’s Peak and clear nighttime view of the solar system. The backyard forms into a tree-covered valley for exploration and hiking. The wood burning stove will take the chill off a cool evening.

This is a great location for those wanting to explore the outdoors, yet remain close to the city and numerous attractions. The roads are well maintained. If wanting to explore beyond the cabin and surrounding forest, there are a multitude of things to do nearby. The cabin is located 15 minutes from Woodland Park (and 30 minutes from Colorado Springs), which has enough stores to provide about any product or service needed. There are many things to do year round in the Pikes Peak Region in addition to fishing, hunting, hiking, rafting, and skiing. The changing of the Aspen leaves in September is breath-taking. Summer time in the Rockies is unmatched, with average temperatures of 70 degrees, the Aspens in full bloom, and a sprinkling of wildflowers.

The home was beautiful and completely equipped. Would definitely stay there again. So peaceful!! The only thing partially negative that I could say is that you don't get cell phone service there. However, they have a house phone included for your use and internet. And wouldn't be a problem at all if you didn't want to be bothered.

House was comfortable with lots of space in family areas. Bedrooms were small. More bedside tables were needed. Tight space for luggage in bedrooms, so we put it in the family living area. This location is very far from almost anything and on VERY curvy secluded roads. Too many rules NOT disclosed BEFORE booking. Can only wash 3 loads of clothes during stay. We were washing 3 loads a day for our group from activities we completed and towels needed daily. Do yourself a favor and look for your specific activities and see how far the drive will be from this location.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin had so much room and had everything we needed. We felt at home in this place and would love to come back next year. The outside view was breathtaking and it was very peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Divide, Co. The property was clean and spacious with a great view of the mountains. Very private location but close enough to stores and restaurants. We had a family of 5 with 3 older teenagers and there was plenty of room for us, with 2 separate living room spaces. Kitchen is well appointed with plenty of dishes, utensils and pots/pans. Great access to hiking trails nearby. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Looking for a relaxing, comfortable mountain retreat? This place delivered for us! Tucked away in the Rockies with an awesome view of Pikes Peak from the back deck, this cabin was the perfect place for our family vacation! We prepared almost all our meals in the well equipped kitchen, as well as the grill on the deck. The beds were comfortable and there was ample space for eight adults to hang out together. We utilized numerous OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) trails meandering throughout Pike National Forest. These trails are located about three miles from the cabin. We enjoyed watching the deer from the cabin as they feasted on the lush green grass in the large backyard. Day trips to places like the Pikes Peak Cog Railway or Garden of the Gods were about thirty minutes away. We hope to return to this cabin in the future and add new memories!

The house was absolutely like it was pictured. The view of Pikes Peak was stunning and the house is exceptionally well kept. Communication with the owner was excellent! If you like to get away with a good amount of privacy this the place to be. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
