Gorgeous cabin-style home huge private hot tub, beautiful deck & fireplace

Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Great location and wonderful amenities.

Internet did not work. We spent two days trying to fix it and the router was broken. We had to rent another cabin so we could work east coast hours. We were unable to stay at this cabin because of the broken router and lack of internet access. We requested a refund but the host denied. We will never stay with this host again.

We had an awesome time here. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed! It is MUCH bigger than it looks. There are two living rooms which was really nice and a big laundry room. Although there are neighbors they are fairly concealed by trees and brush and behind the property is nothing but nature. You can walk a little less than a mile down to the shops and a really fabulous pizza place (don’t miss out on that). We would stay here again.

Fun, adorable house with lots of stairs! Bedrooms were tight but fine for our 2 night stay. Hot tub was lovely! Kitchen had plenty of supplies. Grill was clean! Comfortable furniture and beds.

Family of 4 with teens (14&17) first visit to Alaska. Wanted a comfortable place to ourselves away from town and Ullrs did not disappoint! Plenty of room, amenities close by, wilderness out the back door! Saw a mouse and calf come thru the yard one morning. Hot tub is awesome! Great location for all of our day trips to Seward, Whittier, hiking, etc. Would gladly stay again. Thanks!

Soaking in the hot tub, nestled in the woods, was a great way to finish a day of hiking and touring!

We had a lovely stay. Quiet, beautiful home in the woods with everything you need. The Girdwood area is perfect for hiking and an easy jump off point for day trips. Highly recommend.

After flying into anchorage from the east coast this was a great place to stay for a couple nights, relax, and get over the jet lag. Very comfortable, clean, and close to the mountain for activities.

We really loved the layout of the home. There was plenty of space for 3 adults and a 18 year old. We enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails and restaurants. The hot tub was the nicest one we’ve ever had at a VRBO. It was spacious and had a nice size roof over it. This was clutch as it rained the whole time we were there and we still could enjoy the hot tub.

Incredibly comfortable, love the loftiness of the high floors, great decks and outdoor spaces, and convenient to town without being in town.

This place was super cute, clean, and relaxing! The hot tub had a unique odor so didn’t spend as much time hot tubbing as we had liked. The views are incredible; note neighbors are nearby so you are not completely isolated in the woods, but extremely quiet location. The house has all you need to cook and enjoy the outdoors.

We booked the treehouse for a much needed girls weekend getaway!! It was very unique and one of a kind!

The place was amazing and super clean.

This was a perfect place for us to stay with our family of five, including three kids. There are a lot of steps since the place has four levels. The kids especially loved the surrounding area of the woods, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. What a treasure!

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Birdhouse. The house was clean and eclectic and nestled in the woods. The kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub/ gazebo was beautifully done and hit the spot after adventuring in Alaska. Hope to return again.

Loved staying here! Convenient location, comfortable beds, phenomenal hot tub. Lots of stairs so maybe not the greatest for young kids or folks who have limited mobility.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was well-equipped, where we made breakfast and even baked birthday cupcakes. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we each had a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the outdoor space that each of us enjoyed. The two separate living areas were a fantastic feature, allowing us to unwind and watch our favorite shows without compromise. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as Anchorage, Palmer, and Seward. Girdwood itself is a gem- wonderful restaurants, a local market, and a ski resort with breathtaking views from the tram. Overall, our stay was superb, and we will certainly recommend this cabin to others seeking a memorable getaway!

The family all had a great time. It is an easy location to go hiking and is quiet at night.
