A nice, well kept neighborhood with lots of unique houses. Many shady tree covered streets perfect for a walk.
Most people use uber or lyft if they don't have their own car. There is a light rail station 0.8 mile from the house.
There is a garage apartment in the back of the house that is occupied.

The owner was extremely polite and helpful. The house was clean, had lots of additional things that I tend to forget with VRBO vs hotel, like shampoo and conditioner, and hair dryer and iron and ironing board!
Awesome little house that was perfect for our trip. Austin was great with communication and worked to get us in a day early since our plans changed. He left detailed instructions with places to eat and things to do. Close to a grocery store and the university too. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Everyone we saw out & about waved or said hello. We will be back and hopefully be able to stay here again soon.
The house was wonderful. From the inside it could have been a cozy cabin next to a lake. Place was very clean, and communication with the host was spot on. We were only in town for the evening for a show downtown. The neighborhood is being revitalized, so it's a mixture of new and old. Seating is plentiful, beds are comfy, and water pressure for shower is good. Good size kitchen and dining area. Recommended!
The host was very helpful during our stay
My husband and I were in town for a conference and we so enjoyed coming back to the home for rest and relaxation in the evening. Everything was clean, well stocked and very homey. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.?
We stayed 3 nights in Austin’s cozy Coyle Cabin. He was very responsive and flexible with us. The house was just as pictured and described with all updated appliances. The decor was nice and the location had us close to everything we wanted access to. We will most definitely stay again!
The property is tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very spacious with nice amenities. However, I was HORRIFIED to know that my roommate and I were attacked by bed bugs! At first we thought it was mosquito bites but we were at a conference with 19,000 other women who were not complaining of the same. I came home that night and searched the bed and my worst fears were confirmed. I called myself going to sleep on the couch for the night and literally felt like I was being eaten alive. I woke up at 5:30am with 15-20 bites on my arms, back, upper thigh. I think what was on the couch was something else. Needless to say, I was glad that I was leaving that day and just headed to the conference early. The owner was polite and responsive. We also had an issue with the lock earlier in the trip. He gave us a partial refund but I would have appreciated at least half since half of my group suffered.
I had amazing experience staying here, the place was clean, open concept cabin design combined with minimalist look to it, nice and cozy, close to downtown and decent neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back one day! Thank you Austin for being a wonderful host!
We loved our stay! Great location and the neighborhood was really quaint. Much better than a hotel. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our three days in Houston.
The house was clean, comfortable, and recently updated. It was a great alternative to an expensive hotel room downtown for a conference I was attending. The neighborhood is a nice revitalization very old charming craftsman-style homes. An Uber ride to or from the the downtown district costs less than seven dollars. Austin was helpful and communicated everything I needed.
