In the evenings, enjoy happy hour around the outdoor fire table, play a round of cornhole or ladder toss, or take a leisurely walk to Main Street for dinner before returning home to relax.

The spacious bedrooms offer comfortable retreats at the end of the day, and bonus sleeping spaces include futons and a pull-out couch, which are ideal for kids or flexible group layouts. The large dining table comfortably seats all 12 guests, making it perfect for shared meals, celebrations, and long evenings spent together. Outside, the kids will love the treehouse and yard, while furry family members will enjoy the fully fenced backyard.

Guest Opportunity: Golf at Walla Walla Country Club
Golfers staying at The Whitman House may have the opportunity to play at the private Walla Walla Country Club.

GOOD TO KNOW:
• All bedrooms are located upstairs
• The home comfortably hosts large groups, though there is one bathroom upstairs and one on the main floor
• The homeowner lives in a separate ADU apartment attached to the garage, located at the back of the property, completely detached from the house. The ADU is fenced off, private, and has no shared spaces. Guests rarely see the owner, though she may occasionally be around with her small dog, Priscilla.


PROPERTY RULES
1. Max occupancy: 12 guests
2. Max vehicles: 4
3. Quiet hours: 9pm–8am (Sun–Thu) & 10pm–8am (Fri–Sat)
4. Trash must be secured in provided receptacles
5. Guests must follow all county-mandated burn bans

VERIFIED VIOLATIONS BY THE CITY AND/OR COMPLAINTS MADE BY NEIGHBORS CAN RESULT IN ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. $250 fine per violation
2. Forfeit of guests’ damage deposit and/or refundable property fee
3. Immediate eviction
4. Homeowners & hosts may lose their permit to operate


DOGS ALLOWED:
We allow dogs only, a max of two dogs for a $150 pet fee. Please review rental agreement and welcome packet for more details about bringing dogs.


PARKING:
Guests have access to parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. Vehicles must be parked in two rows of two (tandem parking). Please ensure all vehicles are fully within the driveway and do not block any portion of the sidewalk or extend into the street.


CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES:
For security purposes, there are two outdoor cameras that monitor the front door, and back entrance. Cameras are there to help monitor weather, and are for guests' safety. There are no indoor cameras. **Tampering with cameras is immediate cause for eviction.


GUEST / BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primary renter must be 21+ years of age and MUST be staying at the property for the complete duration of the booking
2. Rental agreement must be signed after booking is accepted and provide valid ID
3. $300 security hold is required and will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no issues are reported.

    We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home in Walla Walla. It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate a late Christmas with our oldest daughter. The house is large, spacious, and so comfortable — plenty of room for everyone to spread out and also great spaces to gather. Everything was very clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully stocked. The beds were comfy, the layout worked perfectly for family time, and check-in was easy.We would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 — highly recommend!

    Weekend trip with friends. This was a perfect set up for 8 adults. Plenty of comfortable places to sit and chat. Kitchen had all that we needed for a couple of shared meals together. Highly recommend it for a weekend in Walla Walla.

The house is in the center of everything close to anything you could possibly need in Walla Walla.The house itself has all the charm of an older home with an amazing combination of style that makes it modern as well.Cannot highly recommend this home enough!     What an amazing property here in Walla Walla. Such a darling home in a darling city. This home was so thoughtfully hosted. From the small packets of of shampoo and makeup remover to all of the dishes, pans, coffee, welcome bottle of wine, linens, fans, robes, slippers, dog biscuits, outdoor furniture, etc. I couldn't name them all. If you are looking for a beautiful house in wine country, stay at The Whitman house! We will be back!

    Family and friends came in to celebrate a milestone birthday and enjoy the wine scene in the Walla Walla area. The Whitman House was the perfect location to enjoy everything. Walkable to town and all it offered, minutes from wonderful wineries, a very comfortable home to start out your day in and come back to in the evening… Loved it and would love to come again.

    My extended family and I loved our stay at the Whitman House, where we spent five days celebrating my daughter's wedding. The house is beautiful and spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out both inside and in the sitting area in the yard. It's a nice treed walk to downtown, which was a great bonus.
