Good Vibes All Around: Aspen Sixteen at Black Butte Ranch

The photo’s online do not do this place justice. It is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed… just perfect!

We have stayed in a lot of BBR homes and Aspen 16 is one of the best. It's very comfortable, clean, well stocked and extremely peaceful.

Great house for anyone, especially a family with children. LOTS of books for them to read (wide age range from board books to preteen/teen), games to play, DVDs to watch. They even had 2 small bikes for children. A pack-and-play along with a gate to put across the stairs was tucked into the closets. They even provided tear free gentle baby soap/shampoo.Kitchen is open to the living area, which allowed everyone to enjoy each others' company all the time! The kitchen is well-stocked (coffee maker, coffee grinder, an excellent plug in/easy to clean bacon griddle, etc.). They had a wide range of kid plates/cups/silver(plastic)ware). Wifi was excellent. Excellent water pressure from the showers (full blast was too forceful, but able to adjust easily to our liking!). Soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided.AC works very well. Clothes washer and dryer got the job done. Plenty of pool towels.Very short distance to quiet/peaceful Aspen lake. 1 mile to Glaze Meadow rec center/pool.Our family loved the house and I would highly recommend staying here.

Great cozy cabin with games, books and basics for young kids and families. Wonderful communication with host including accomodating our early check in. Great access to bike path, fire station, Glaze and the best of BBR. We really enjoyed it and would go back!

Very nice house in a central but peaceful location. There's a lot of good outside space, decks on 2 sides of the house.

The house was dirty, especially the downstair’s bathroom, and the amount of spider webs with dead bugs throughout was disheartening. I informed the host only to get a “thank you for your feedback.” Expensive night’s stay to not have a spotless bathroom. This won’t allow me to add my pix; I’ve got plenty of the nastiness surrounding the bathroom sink and wall in front of the toilet, which wiped off easily when I used a cloth on it, gross. Also all beds in this house are firm, so prepare to not sleep if that’s not your cup of tea. No tea pot, Wi-Fi or coffee grinder which was promised upon booking. Severely disappointed in this rental especially with what we paid, will never go back. Even the parking spot and entry is overgrown with weeds. The back porch is covered in pollen and huge pine needles that you have to sweep off of everything before you can even use the table and chairs. If the house had been clean, I would have recommended it because it is decorated nicely and a lovely home.

The wedding, weekend and property were all perfect! Although we were very busy with family gatherings at various places, we found time to hike and explore the grounds, and they're amazing. The cabin was perfect for my family, cozy and clean! We wished our stay could have been longer! We're hoping to return. Thanks Jen, for providing the perfect home away from home!

This is our second stay in Aspen House 16… It is beautiful and so well supplied. We plan to stay in this home next year
