We will not offer refunds due to circumstances beyond our control as owners. This includes, sickness, weather conditions (unless there is a road closure to the cabin), etc. Please take advantage of Airbnb’s reasonable trip protection.

-In the winter, please check road conditions on Caltrans website before driving up. Guests must be prepared for snow, with a 4WD vehicle and carry chains.

- There are 2 Ring cameras on the property- one at the front door facing driveway, and one by the patio door. Please note these cameras are not actively monitored throughout your stay. These are placed for safety, and allows us to track mountain things like rain, snow, wildlife, etc.

-There will be spotty cell service. Verizon works best, but it’s always a good idea to check your destination before departing to or from the cabin. Our WiFi works incredibly well!

-We are in the mountains, which means you are among bears, deer, mountain lions, coyotes, and other wildlife. Absolutely NO leaving food/drinks of any kind in your vehicle. We will not be held responsible for damages caused by wildlife encounters.

- We provide a bear bin on property. All trash and recycling goes to the bear bin at the front of the driveway, secured shut and flag up for pick up. Trash day is Thursday morning.

-NO smoking, vaping of any kind on the premises. We are in a very high wildfire danger area.

-No additional guests or pets. If guests exceed the maximum of 9 (or more than 2 dogs), a fee of $50 per additional guest or pet, per day will be added on.

The house is well appointed. Check in was relatively easy although the keypad to enter did not work initially and there is no cell signal to call to get help from the host. The host's check-out instructions do not include all the details including a requirement to wash spa towels (but not regular towels) which are instructions only visible in the onsite handbook. The spa also requires a code to use and you have to contact the host to get it. The owner also accused our family of taking an old polaroid camera and has yet to confirm if they have found it (likely so, since we have no need for one).

What a lovely cabin! Plenty of space, very comfortable beds and cute hipster (but very functional!) decorations. I was impressed with how well stocked the house was - from many cozy blankets, to fun games and puzzles, and a fully stocked and well labeled kitchen. Nothing was overlooked! Kelly was generous and easily reached. Look forward to checking out Arnold again and living The Good Life!
