Stayed Apr 10, 2025Overall it was a wonderful stay, house was large and bedrooms were placed far away from communal areas so quiet could be reached even if people were up late in communal areas.On the listing it stated hot tub needed to be requested 24 hours in advance but when I requested it, I was told that it was a 72 hour notice. Not being able to use the hottub was disappointing.The front gate was not always consistent when letting rideshares into the community (uber and Lyft) Sometimes they required us to walk to front gate from the property other times the rideshares were let inside. It was very hit or miss.My group had some issues checking in as not all guest names were supplied to gate after I was asked to supply all names on several different occasions (rental agreement and through text 24 hours before check in)Also none of the outlets in the bathrooms worked, I was told a maintenance person was going to be dispatched but they never arrived.Overall great stay but these small inconveniences did become annoying.

Stayed Apr 18, 2024There were some glaring problems with our stay. 1. On the second night of our stay the power went out in the detached Casita. Oddly enough the power worked up until about 1am when it shut off. I tried finding the breakers but it was behind a door that had a lockbox which we were not allowed to go into. We had to wait until the next day to get any power in the Casita, which is unacceptable. We were refunded a portion for this, but I felt bad for the guests that had to move all of their arrangements to the house for a night. 2. The air conditioning in the Casita also did not work for the first two days. Frankly, there were a lot of issues with the Casita, and they need to do some better inspections of this portion prior to guests arriving. 3. We paid for pool/spa heating, however the pool and spa were not heated on the first day of arrival. They had a tech come in and they were able to get the pool heated, however the spa never heated above 88 degrees for the whole stay. We paid to get both heated, however the pool only heated for a portion of our stay and the spa never heated. We were refunded an amount back, however it was disappointing we could not use the spa. 4. We ran hot water in the master bedroom tub and the water came out brown. I think this is likely due to the tub not being used for some time and maybe some rust occurring on the pipes. This should be inspected ASAP before the next guest arrives. I would not recommend this stay.

Stayed Mar 22, 2023Difficult dealing with Vacasa corporate people. Local reps were helpful. Corporate told me I had to go to local office for check in which was very inconvenient. Local people checked me in remotely.

Stayed Dec 27, 2022The house size, layout, and location were excellent. We had a problem heating the pool and working the spa. It took Vacasa a while to address this, which was a problem since it was only a three day trip. The sprinklers were running twice a day resulting in pooling of water on the entry sidewalks. This make me very concerned about a trip hazard. The sprinklers are the wrong type and sprayed the walkways. The pool landscaping area shades the sun from the pool. There is a large tree that blocks the southern exposure exposure. The ping pong table on the back patio was warped and dusty. For a high end rental, not allowing any access to a garage is a disadvantage. Although there were spices, there was no cooking oil in the cabinets or garbage bags for the kitchen. Again, this is inconsistent with other high end properties that we have rented in the past. The people at the local Vacasa office were responsive and pleasant to work with. I tried working via text and it was a nightmare. I think that I was working with a robot because their responses were not responsive. I tried to let the front gate know that a VIP Golf Cart rental company was going to drop off a cart and the response that I received was that only three registered guest cars could enter the gate. When I texted that the policy is ridiculous since we might want to use door dash or have a pizza delivered, the response was that was the policy. I responded back saying that was ridiculous, which prompted another canned response saying that no packages could be delivered to the house.I never used text again and just talked to the people at the front entry gate and handled it myself without Vacasa and it was fine. Since the pool heat and spa heat was a problem and I paid an additional $348, I think that I am due a partial refund. I am generally please with high end rentals but this one fell short of the mark. It's hard for these house rental agencies to hit the same level of service as a high end hotel operator.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen was big and beautiful. The pool was big and clean.
