Golf Course View & Pool Access: Gold Canyon Gem

PROPERTY IS IN GREAT SHAPE, COMMUNITY POOL AND SPA WERE FUN, LOCATION IS PERFECT. HOST WAS EXCELLENT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED HERE.

We enjoyed our two months at this property in Gold Canyon. Gold Canyon is a little island of relative calm in busy Phoenix, and we love the quiet and convenience. Great golf right in the neighborhood - 3 nice courses, a great grocery store in Basha’s, a number of really good restaurants, and you can often show up without a reservation and get a table. Easy drive to the Arboretum for delightful walks among nature. A beautiful patio with mountain and golf views for a glass of wine in the evening sunset. The unit is well furnished. The double set of stairs wasn’t a challenge for this older couple - good railings for one of us who is careful on stairs. Bathrooms are a bit dated and getting the faucets off in the master is an art, but we mastered it. Internet was fine, we needed to restart the modem once but other than that no problems. Instructions and directions were very good. The weather was so good we played golf nearly every day so we didn’t use the pool or exercise room, but both looked inviting.

The property was a great place for us to stay while exploring the East Valley. Two suites, both with their own ensuite, suited us perfectly! Super quiet neighborhood although the mowers on the golf course started about 6:15 am a couple of days per week. Would highly recommend this spot!! Greg was so good with communications!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in this beautiful condo. The patio is always bathed in sunshine, and the neighbors are super friendly! The location is perfect and has stunning views! Thank-you for another wonderful March get-away!

We really enjoyed our stay at this townhome. The shared community pool, hot tub and fitness center was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the overall neighborhood for morning and evening walks and the close proximity to great hiking in the area. Any communication was prompt and the home itself very comfortable.

We are snowbirds who enjoyed this spacious condo very much. The location is beautiful and was perfect for us. The sun shines on both decks all day, everyday!

You won’t sorry choosing this beautiful property in a gated golf course community west of Sky Harbor (35-45 minutes dep. on traffic). I was looking for something “closer” to PHX but kept coming back to this property as there was nothing in this price range with half the amenities. Check-in was easy and there was a very clean attached 2-car garage to park my rental in. We took advantage of the washer and dryer in the spotless “mud room” and left without dirty clothes. Downstairs there’s a roomy bedroom and 3/4 bath off the main living area. The linen closet was stocked with towels for bath and pool. Unlike many rentals there were extra blankets for couch time while binge-watching Netflix when it got chilly after the consistently spectacular sunsets. Not that there was any issue with climate control, the temperature can just fluctuate quickly this time of year. The kitchen was modern and well appointed with cookware, flatware and dishes to easily serve 8. The view from the main living area looks out on a golf fairway, so we did coffee every day on the attached patio and spectated. Upstairs was a fully functional office space where my daughter attended college via Zoom on weekday mornings. The weather was spectacular while we were there so she attended her afternoon classes poolside at the neighborhood pool. It was not crowded and unlike some places I’ve stayed before the residents treated us kindl, not like outsiders or intruders. Both the WiFi at the house and her hot spot at the pool were entirely functional though driving in the area it would sometimes cut in and out because of the terrain. Upstairs were two master suites with comfortable beds and quality linens. The king suite deck overlooking the golf course and afforded mid-late afternoon sun and the queen suite opposite offered panoramic views of the mountains and incredible star gazing... very little light pollution in this area. Within 5-10 minutes drive we found an adorable local coffee shop, top notch Mexican and Italian food, a full service grocery store, Walgreens and a gas station plus dozens of businesses we didn’t have a need to patronize. Both Target and Walmart (and all the chaos other chain businesses that come with them) are within 20 minutes as well. Would 10-out-of-10 recommend this rental to anyone, and will definitely place this at the top of my PHX faves.

Gold Canyon is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle of town, with hiking and biking just down the road. Clean home with comfortable beds and space for all 5 of the family. I definitely would stay here again. Great communication from the owner.
