Golf Carts ~ Patio ~ Balcony ~ Community Pool

This is our 3rd stay to SanDestin over Christmas Break for our family. We love staying in Villa Lago. This unit was exactly as described and had so many extra beach chairs, beach toys etc in the garage than mentioned. Our family enjoyed the 2 golfcarts so we could divide and go to the beach or the heated pool, shopping or the Wharf etc. Every morning we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the golfers go by and evening time sitting and reading on the upstairs balcony area. The unit was very clean. Hosts were overly communicative and wonderful to deal with. We will be back! Thank you again!

The house was perfect and in a wonderful location. Communication was easy and the golf carts were wonderful. We had a fantastic time and hope to return soon.

The house was very clean and spacious! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could think of to cook any kind of meal. Would definitely book again. My family had a blast!

Reviewer Comments: Our families frequent the Sandestin neighborhood, this was unfortunately one of the more stressful experiences although we are glad they worked to try and make it right. Upon arrival we noticed there was only one golf cart (advertised two) and we were never informed one was in the shop. We did not get the golf cart back until the day before our stay was over. Two golf carts was one of the primary reasons for our booking. The unit itself was fine, Upstairs guest had a damaged towel hook, and the shower door fit was not quite right so it too more effort to open that (minor issue but a small nuisance). Other than that, everything else was in working order. Wish we would have had better communication and transparency about the golf cart not working.

Having the golf carts available was a great asset, as we were easily able to travel the grounds with the children to visit the pool and Bayside Wharf without having to move our car. Group of 11 women 60+ all grade school friends weekend. Great place easy to accommodate everyone from pool, beach or shopping. Cooked most meals in, kitchen well stocked. Fantastic night out at Rum Runners for excellent food and entertainment with dueling pianos. Con As many other post golf carts very disappointing. Blue one doesn’t hold charge for anytime and runs like it is about to give out at any minute. Gold one no lights so could not use at night. We did report and someone came to check it out but unable to fix it. So basically, we had one golf cart that we could use during the day only This was a big disappointment because we actually picked this house over first choice because we needed the 2 6 seater and other one had 2 6 seater and 1 4 seater…. but in reality, we certainly did not get our moneys worth insulation worth for that.

My family and I absolutely loved this property. Great location and loved the golf carts. There was a problem with one of them but when alerted someone came to fix right away. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for our large family. The house was amazing! We did have trouble with the golf carts keeping their charge. Not sure if it was an electrical problem, or the batteries, or both. A simple yearly golf cart maintenance check is needed!
