This home was a great location to the wharf, had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, The 85 inch TV was perfect for football watching!!! Although we did not use the golf cart as we preferred to walk for exercise, it was a nice feature for a family to use. The view over the golf course was perfect for watching the fireworks and drone show without having to hang in a crowd. The only complaint I had was with the beds. Although great sizes etc., the mattresses were way to soft, with obvious overuse spots. The only firm mattress in the home was the top bunk of the bunk beds.

The included golf cart made getting to the beach and Baytowne Wharf so easy and fun. The pool is practically across the street, so really convenient. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly, perfect for our 2 dogs! The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed for meals at home. Each bedroom was comfortable and private, and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Everything about the home was easy – from check-in to using the appliances. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus and made packing and cleanup so much simpler.The location in Villa Lago is amazing – quiet and relaxing, yet close to everything Sandestin has to offer. Having access to the resort’s amenities was a huge bonus – from the pools to the walking trails, everything was convenient and family-friendly.Booking through My Vacation Haven was seamless. Their communication was clear and helpful, and check-in/check-out was effortless. Overall, the house was great. Having a bathroom with every bedroom was nice. The beds were comfortable. The TV room was nice and a good place for the family to hang out. We like the open floor plan. The golf cart and the provided beach equipment was a huge plus. We had a couple hiccups. First, we had one night planned to grill out, but when we went to light the grill, it didn't work. There wasn't a lighter or matched provided, so we couldn't test if it was the ignitor button. We let the host know, and they sent someone over, but they were unable to get it going. It was fixed the next day, but our cookout was over by then. That same night, the toilet on the main floor started leaking all over the floor. My husband turned the water off, and they had someone come out and fix it the next day... but still, not something you want to deal with when paying so much to stay there. We also like to cook a lot, and although the kitchen had the basics, there were a few things that would have been nice. For example, the biggest measuring cup was 1/3 cup (oddly), very few serving bowls, no mixing bowl with a spout for pouring, only one spatula...I know these are little things, but when you actually use the kitchen to cook, you notice those little things. Also, the ice maker wasn't hooked up and there was no griddle or waffle iron. The air fryer was nice. Would have liked to have an instapot also. The directions on how to get to the beach from the golf cart left much to be desired. We c

It was also a very convenient location to get to the shops and warf. The provided beach supplies were ver much appreciated and the golf cart was a must-have. Just be sure not to lock the bolt to the front door if you leave on the golfcart. You'll be locked out. :) 10/10

This house was an absolutely wonderful getaway for my family. It is a beautifully decorated home with all details you can imagine there at the house, from a stocked kitchen/pantry to the garage with all the beach gear. The kitchen is stocked with any cooking item you need as well as a large quantity of platewear (the only suggestion I would add would be for there to include some plastic cups for kiddos and some yeti-type cups for to-go drinks!) The ice maker in the freezer was out, as the part to fix it is on back order, and immediately upon our arrival, My Vacation Rentals provided us with a bag of ice and ice trays. One day, we looked up, and a gentleman from My Vacation Rentals was out cleaning out our grill! They are very thorough. The AC keeps the house cool very efficiently, even upstairs. The golf cart is a wonderful amenity as well. Baytowne Wharf Village restaurants are just a 3 minute golf cart ride away as well as shopping at the Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Right where you park the golf cart at the Wharf is an awesome playground for kids. This vacation home is highly recommended. Thanks for having us!
