Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room. Upstairs, adjacent to one another is the guest bedroom and second master bedroom. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature granite counter-tops, Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities.
30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald blue waters indigenous to the area. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the street legal Golf Cart, complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence.

No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted in 'Anchor for the Soul' No exceptions will be made! Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing!! Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

The Neighborhood:
The Town of Prominence 30A; North
Would recommend for families with small children who enjoy playing in the pool. The beach was a haul and had to drive or ride bikes. Would not recommend for over 6 people due to small bedrooms. Must be 21 to drive golf cart.
Really enjoyed the space and location wasn’t too far from beach; nice pool close by! Plenty of space for our family of 5 and love the open floor plan & washer/dryer. Golf cart was a fun bonus. Appreciated the beach toys, chairs & paddle board, etc… Bikes were fun but a couple need maintenance. One of the dining chairs needs fixed & the Livingroom furniture isn’t the most comfortable. Nice, clean family oriented neighborhood with restaurants & shops nearby. Enjoyed our stay!
Overall good place. Very nice neighborhood on 30A. Beautiful rental. The Chill across the street was great! Lots of shops and food places. Golf cart was a nice bonus with unit. Some things that were not so great… Floor was filthy. Not sure it’s ever been mopped. Living room furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture ever. Not great for relaxing after long day at the beach. The beds weren’t great either. If you’re counting on sleeping on sofa beds then definitely bring memory foam toppers, the floor would have been more comfortable than those beds. No extra blankets so bring those. Not enough washcloths or hand towels. Be prepared to wash towels daily. Beach access was tricky and parking was hard to find so be prepared to walk long distances. Pool was so crowded everyday we didn’t swim, but it looked like a nice pool. The stove didn’t work. They did provide hot plates but kept tripping the breaker. Would have been nice to know before we bought groceries to cook.

Very nice stay. The neighborhood is central to both Rosemary Beach and Seaside. The home is comfortable for a family of four. We didn’t use the golf cart but it is a nice amenity if needed. There are a few small things that need repair and paint but nothing that deterred us from enjoying our time.
Stayed here for a bachelorette party, very kid friendly would recommend more for families. The drive from destin airport was about 1hr away and the service in the area was terrible for ubers/lyfts. Our condo was not full cleaned and equipped with things we needed. Checked in right at 4pm and there were fruit flys all over the kitchen. Areas of the house weren’t fully clean, stains on furniture etc. Trash bins were covered with bugs. We needed to clean house for check out but we had no extra trash bags, no extra toilet paper, beach towels, or extra bath towels Overall it wasn’t great to stay here. 30A is beautiful but i would definitely not stay here again unless things were different. Tried to call management about fruit flys and all they brought was a bug spray. Again not very accommodating for what we needed. Disappointed
Loved the house and the area. Beautiful area so relaxing. We had golf cart to get around if we wanted bicycles beach was close shopping and eating area across the street. Other towns were real close by to go down the road and explore other areas. State parks close to go hike.
Keep looking elsewhere or find a property not managed by Beachwalk Vacations. Arrived to find broken blinds, a broken fridge, and a unit that appeared to be heavily used. When checking in. we were told the lights were out on the golf cart and that someone would be there in 30 minutes to fix. Hours and days passed with multiple messages and still no repair. We were told 2 days in a row someone would be there and to leave the cart for them. No show and no contact from property manager. Disappointed that the primary reason we chose this property was not available for Multiple days and it couldn't be used at night at all. To add to that, Beachwalk Vacations showed no signs of concern or offer to partially refund part of our expense.
