I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Moose cabin. The kitchen was well appointed and that's important for those of us that like to cook. Wine and crackers on the deck was very enjoyable as was sitting in front of the fireplace as we read our books. Highly recommended.

Stayed Sep 9, 2025Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very open and spacious for big family. A little disappointed that it was so close to other cabins, which the pictures don’t show. Luckily, at this time of year, not many people are around. We were hoping to enjoy the fireplace a little more, but it didn’t seem to work properly. It kept going on and off and didn’t stay on for very long. Also, the AC vents look like they have never been cleaned.

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful family get away to Grand Lake at the Golden Moose Cabin. Very neat, clean, and peaceful home in the trees that made it feel like a real mountain retreat but had the security of being in a nice neighborhood. We spent most of our time in Grand Lake and surrounding area with everything being a very short 10-15 minute drive. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 25, 2025Peaceful and quiet. Had everything we needed. Perfect cabin for our family. Even got to see a moose and her calf drinking from the little pond out back one morning. Will definitely book again!

We have vacationed at the Rocky Mountain Park several times but always stayed in other towns. Grand Lake is so nice and the cabin was just minutes from the entrance which saved us so much time everyday driving back and forth. We will definitely be staying there again.

Reviewer Comments: We had the BEST vacation to Grand Lake, and we loved our Golden Moose Cabin. The very first evening we saw two moose behind the cabin, which was the reason we chose Grand Lake. Grand Mountain rentals were so helpful, kind, and prompt. They made this easy, and were there every time we had a question. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and we would definitely return there!

Stayed Jul 11, 2024We were looking for a getaway for our anniversary. This cabin was amazing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning and evening watching a moose and her baby swim in the lake and take a nap right outside our cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing and we look forward to coming back and staying again.
