Really nice house with a great location. I cannot wait to rent this house again
Super close to Palisades. Beautiful home.
We absolutely loved the house! The location was perfect for skiing at Palisades, and there are several hiking options right off the property. It's close to Truckee downtown and Tahoe City for grocery. The house itself was literally spot clean when we arrived, and very well stocked. My twin boys enjoyed the s'mores after ski. Garage is nice and big, which is definitely a plus. Thank you, Kassie, for hosting us. We throughly enjoyed the house, and all your generous hospitality. Our family will always look forward coming back!
This was a great spot for Spring skiing. Easy to get to Palisades and Alpine as well as Truckee and Tahoe City. Our friends came out from the East Coast to check out West Coast skiing and this house was perfect for two families. Lots of light and great communal spaces. Watch out for the dining chairs, everyone stubbed their toes.
Space has large windows for natural light. Host made it an easy stay.
We enjoyed the home -- clean, modern, and well located. This is a new property so I think the property manager is still trying to get into the swing of things. So here are a few things you should know before you go... The night before our stay I realized I received no instructions on how to enter the home, so make sure you get that info beforehand. Googlemaps may lead you to a different home. Ignore the sign that says construction personnel only. Keep going because the house is past that sign. When we arrived, there was a lockbox near the front door. Don't use that to get into the house. I was instructed later that the way to enter the home was to use the code to enter the garage, and another code to enter the house. As for the wifi code and shuttle information (Mountaineer app), that was on a card tucked inside the welcome basket in the kitchen. Hazard: the dining room chairs are stylish, but the legs stick outward. Everyone stubbed their toe at least once. Keep a healthy distance when walking around the chairs! Overall, we had a great stay.
My family enjoyed a week at this beautiful new home! It was very convenient that the home was located in the shuttle route (free shuttles you can request to the ski area and to town). Kassie was easily available and helpful, would stay again!
