Cute little house beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable for our short stay!
Great clean house
This was the perfect place to stay for my family. There's so much attention to detail, it makes you feel right at home. I definitely would recommend staying here.
We checked in super late the day of our arrival only to find BOTH bed frames were broken. There is a king bed in the guest room, queen in the master, and the king bed dipped so badly in the center because of the broken bed frame that only one person could comfortably sleep in it. Our other son had to sleep on the couch all 4 nights. The property manager did respond very quickly to my text and said she would see if anyone could come fix them which never happened. The second day the neighbor came over to let us know that we needed to move our cars because we were partially parked in his driveway. He informed us that he has to ask every guest to move their cars and that he has let the owner know on multiple occasions. This issue could very easily be solved by fixing the driveway so that the black gravel/rock driveway for the VRBO doesn’t extend beyond the property line. The third day BOTH toilets began having issues flushing/had to be plunged each time they were used. The last night we were there the ceiling in the master bedroom began leaking (AC unit) and literally flooded the entry way to the bedroom as water continued coming through the ceiling. We had to put towels + buckets down to catch water, vacate the master and 3 people then slept on the couch/living room floor. Again the property manager was quick to respond and apologized but we were very over it all by that point. She did offer to refund some of our money for the stay which unfortunately we have yet to see.
The property is well maintained and nicely decorated. There were a couple of disappointing moments with our stay. The property initially listed having a pool. This is one of the reasons that I booked this location. Well, there was no pool. I checked online and they have adjusted the listing, unfortunately they did not contact us to make us aware that there was a mistake on the listing. After doing a walking tour of A&M, it would have been nice to cool off in a pool. The king bed is located in the small bedroom instead of the primary suite. My husband and I need our space when sleeping, so we had to give our kids the primary suite (full size bed) to sleep in. The king mattress dips in the middle, which made sleeping uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch the second night of our stay. The affordability and cleanliness of the house was great! I just was disappointed in the bed and lack of pool.
We loved the house however the front bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and at times the hall bathroom toilet would not flush. Overall those are the only things that need to be fixed.
The house was very lovely and perfect for our gathering! I’m an A&M student and my family came to town to celebrate the anniversary of a special event. We hosted a dinner with some of my friends and the space was great for it. We were also in a fun location to show my parents around the day after. We had a plumbing issue during our stay, but we’re provided a maintenance number that was very proficient at coming to help. Also, when parking in the driveway, be sure to stay on the right side of the fence line, even though the gravel path goes into the neighbor’s property. The neighbor was super friendly about it, but we want to be respectful of him!
We had a wonderful spring break at this home in Bryan, TX. The house is beautiful and spacious, and it was clean and easy to check in. Towels and cookware were provided, as well as WiFi. There was plenty to do in the area and many great restaurants: we recommend The Brazos Museum of Natural History, the Post Oak Mall, Herps Exotic Pet Shop, the Warehouse (for Texas A&M merch), Sweet Paris Cafe, Fusion Peru, and Chimy’s.
Very nice renovated house in a neighborhood of older established homes. Very convenient to downtown Bryan, on a side street so it was nice and quiet.
