Stayed Sep 19, 2025Beautiful home to stay in! A very peaceful neighborhood. Love the deck! Sat and watched 6 deer for quite a while one evening. The host was excellent! Helped us when we locked ourselves out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed Apr 16, 2025We have stayed at two of Chris’s homes and they are lovely, as well as being in a beautiful area. However there are a couple things we were disappointed in. First, the house is not very well stocked at all. We had to wash towels daily in order to have clean towels. The kitchen is greatly lacking! No cutting knives, one dishtowel, no dishcloths, sponges etc, no toaster, no pan to scramble eggs….so we were having to make constant trips to the store each time we would try to cook something and didn’t have some basic items. The most frustrating part was that the ad said “entire house”. The day after we checked in, we realized that there is another rental in the basement of the house. One night Chris called us at 11:30pm to let me know the person downstairs tripped the peer and asked if we would go out to the garage to hit the breaker. Yes, we had to get out of bed to go do this. So beware if you stay here.

Stayed Feb 18, 2025In town for work trip. Comfortable and clean. Lots of deer in the back in the evening. Other than the mugs not being microwave safe in spite of saying so (be careful!), we had a great stay and would stay again.

Stayed Jan 30, 2025It was my sister's 60th birthday and we visited botanical gardens in Gainesville. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood and close to alot of stores, malls and food. Everything was convenient and under 10 minutes away.
