Stayed Aug 20, 2024We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning log home in West Glacier! Perfectly suited for our large group, the house offered both spaciousness and charm, making it a fantastic base for our Glacier National Park adventure. The home is beautifully crafted, with its log cabin aesthetic adding a cozy, rustic feel that enhanced our mountain experience. The location is ideal—nestled in a private setting that feels wonderfully secluded, yet conveniently close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings while being just a short drive away from all the park’s incredible sights. The layout of the house was excellent for our group. The main living areas were open and inviting, with plenty of room for everyone to gather and enjoy meals together. One note for future guests: one of the bedrooms is located in the basement. While it was well-furnished and comfortable, it’s worth mentioning if you prefer all sleeping spaces on the main floors. Overall, this log home provided everything we needed for a memorable stay, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to explore Glacier National Park with a large group. A perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and convenience!

Stayed Dec 30, 2025This property was amazing! Everything was in order and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and made our stay easier by being available and attentive. It was especially nice that the owners sent out a plow to clear the snow for us so that we can access the properties easier.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025The log cabin house was perfect. I so enjoyed the promptness of a new coffee pot being hand delivered when we called to let you know the coffee pot was not working. We did not use the wood stove, but you could still smell smoke in the house. I suspect in the wintertime this is a wonderful smell. The carpet runners in the kitchen were fraying and even though we had no issue with it, I think for others it might be a tripping hazard. Thank you so much for letting us use your house.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025This house was incredible! We were a family of 12, ranging in age from 7-70 and had plenty of room to spread out. The house was spotless and the kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything you would need. We all loved the rec room downstairs, using the pool table and air hockey everyday. After a day of hiking and exploring Glacier, it was the perfect way to unwind. The house was only 15 minutes from Glacier which was so helpful. There was a small glitch in reserving the house and Stephanie was extremely helpful in resolving it. I would absolutely recommend this house!

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Everything was wonderful except the dishwasher. The racks were hard to use and needed jiggled everytime when trying to get the door shut. Made for a bit of frustration since we had a large group and were constantly putting items into the dishwasher. Other than that I would have given the place a 5. Beautiful setting, large and roomy house fit our group of 12 with ease. If they repair or replace the dishwasher, I would highly recommend.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We had a great stay at Glacier Dream! The house was perfect for us! Plenty of room for our family and everything we needed during trip. The game room provided entertainment for our teenagers when we weren't hiking. The view was wonderful, and we had wild turkeys and ground squirrels to watch! Definetely recommend!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Exceptional home with open floor plan. Very spacious! Loved the 3 levels: basement, set up as a large family room with games, workout room , bar area, TV area, & bedroom & large bathroom; main floor with large, well stocked kitchen and separate dining area (15 foot table!), pantry, laundry area, spacious living room, bathroom, and master bedroom with large bathroom (includes a jacuzzi tub!); upper level with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an office. Plenty of closet space in 2 of the bedrooms. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Portable fans kept the rooms cool at night with windows open. Access to Large 2 car garage with plenty of space. Enclosed pet area outside. Fire pit area with chairs- ideal for star-gazing. Enclosed apple orchard. Plenty of dishes, utensil's, cups, pots, pans, skillets, cutlery. Loved the porch outside the master bedroom on the main floor. We rented bear spray since lots of hiking occurred during our stay. Very reasonable. Thankfully, we did not need to use it. Truly, an exceptional place. Management company was good with communication. Other positives: beds very comfortable, lots of fresh, plush linens and pillows, large entry closet. New Carpets. Looks like it has been newly renovated with fresh paint & carpets throughout the home. Our family felt extremely comfortable in this home.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024We chose this home because we are a family of 6 and this home gave every kid their own room. We loved the log cabin style of the home. It is only a 10 minute drive from the West Glacier Entrance and 25-30 minutes to Whitefish. Everything was as advertised. The home is close to Rt. 2 and yet feels very remote. It is located on a short dirt road that map apps seem to know by two different names: Happy Dream Train and Wild Rose Lane. The interior of the home is much nicer than the exterior looks. The landscaping on the outside I would describe as overgrown and in need of some weedwacking. It is a rustic environment so I wasn't expecting a manicured lawn, but based on how tall the weeds were I'd say nothing is done to it all summer. Another area of improvement would be to repair the dirt/gravel driveway. It is in rough shape and goes uphill so some maintenance on it would be helpful. The last suggestion I have would be to add screens to the windows as only a couple of them had them. Other than these few areas of improvement, the home is very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024Overall this is a beautiful home and the proximiting to Glacier National Park and Columbia Falls was wonderful. The house is spacious, clean, well furnished and the managers were very responsive. The one challenge which we didn't realize when booking, was there is no AC in the house. Unfortunately, there was a heat wave during our first few days. We purchased a few extra fans and fortunately the evenings were cool enough. The lower level was comfortable, main level was ok but upstairs was still a little warm until the temperatures cooled off. Besides that, it was a great house and we enjoyed the stay.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024This house was in a fabulous location. It was 15 min from the National Park Entrance at Apgar. Close to other activities like putt putt, go carts, white water rafting, the Hungry Horse Dam, and many other things. Its proximity to the park allowed us to hop back and forth when needed with ease. Clean, spacious, and great for our family. There was no AC, but that is to be expected in Montana and with some strategically located fans pushing air from the cool basement the was comfortable. Many well thought of and well stocked items that made our stay very pleasant.
