Stayed May 24, 2019The few photographs of this property on this website do not do it justice! This is a superb house, set in a beautiful garden with the free use of kayak, rowing boat and bicycles. Undoubtedly a highlight of our stay for the children was kayaking straight from the garden boathouse around the numerous waterways in this area and into the River Somme. It is a lovely walk or cycle along the river path into Amiens. Although you need a car to see further places and WW1 sights. The host is welcoming, the house spotless and well equipped - full of antiques (ornaments and furniture) but with fully modern facilities.

Stayed Sep 14, 2016I am extremely fussy and particular about standards and this beautiful accommodation surpassed all expectations of our stay here. It is peaceful, warm and very French - the hosts are absolutely wonderful people, friendly, caring and respectful. I thoroughly recommend asking for the chef option for four course authentic French cuisine as well. The property works very well for a larger travelling group of parties - each has a chalet with plenty of bedrooms, well furnished to a high standard and well equipped kitchens. A five minute drive to central Amiens and set amongst estuaries and gorgeous common gardens provides a wonderful experience of the region. Five stars plus from me and my family!
