Gems by the Sea~ 3BR/2BA beautiful beach house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time at Gems by the Sea but second visit to Martinique. We love Martinique. We were pleasantly surprised with Gems by the Sea specifically the fact that the main living areas had been repainted and new furniture/decorations were updated. We loved the porch area and the two golf carts. The house is approximately 1/2 mile from the beach so the carts were perfect for getting to/from the beach. Nice decor throughout house; kitchen well stocked; many beach toys/utensils There were a couple of things that need to be addressed. The house was not really clean upon our arrival. There was noticeable hair, dirt, dust, and sand on the floors. Guest bathroom needed recleaning. The carpets in the bedrooms was very worn and dirty. Replacing the carpet with a different flooring would improve the cleanliness as well as decor of the house. Parking was an issue. We had a suburban and a tahoe and fitting the two vehicles in the allotted area was difficult. Bikes were a nice touch but bikes had issues with the chain on one bike and the tire on the other bike. Maintenance was contacted but the man stated that it would be a week or so before it could be fixed.

We enjoy the open space and short walk or golf cart ride to the pool or beach. Lots of fun amenities like outdoor gas grill, screened in porch etc. We will continue to rent this property during our Fort Morgan trips for years to come.

Only problem was the parking rules ! We left golf cart in sand in front of house until we could move the cars. Guard knocked on door giving us a warning! Said next time ticket.
