The house is pretty nice and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It is impossible to park a car leveled on the driveway. I should have taken a cue from other reviews but it is a very steep driveway. We did not stay at this house after looking at the location, as there was snow predicted for the two days during our stay, even though we paid for the full stay. The drive to this home is really steep and you will definitely need snow chains if there is snow. I would stay away from this property if you do not have a 4 X 4 vehicle and a heart of steel.

Cabin was okay. The driveway is ridiculous! Could use some updates and a deep cleaning. View from cabin was nice. We saw bears everyday!

Cabin and stay was great, the driveway to the cabin was sketchy, gravel washed onto it from the rains and made it difficult to get up

This property is AMAZING. We visit Gatlinburg every year and will definitely be making this cabin our go to for our annual trip! The views are amazing, the entire place was spotless, and the host was fantastic.

The vacation was intended to be a relaxing getaway. Upon arriving to Gatlinburg, we were greeted with curvy, narrow, steep roads, getting to the destination. Upon arriving at the reserved destination, the driveway Had a curve at the bottom with a steep mountainous incline to the top of the driveway, which never flattened out. Requiring use of Emergency brake for safety. There was a pull off for second parked vehicle, which was cracked and gravely with pot holes. So steep, that to try to open your doors to get out of the vehicle, caused doors to slam into your body with the gravity pull. Getting out of the driveway was next to impossible even with the small vehicle there was an 8-10 inch drop off from pavement to grass or gravel. Pray you don’t drive off that ledge. Please take note that this destination is high in the mountains, and a very treacherous driveway despite the fact that the property description does not describe that or show pictures of the whole driveway. We were also told there was a security camera on the property. We experienced either vandalism or an attack on our vehicle from a bear, incurring over $2000 of damage. I contacted the property owner and asked him to look at the recording, to learn if it was vandalism or a bear. I was told The security is a “ring” and does not record. Honestly, what is the point. We left two nights earlier than we had anticipated and were not able to secure any sort of refund for the two nights to compensate slightly for our damages or for our unfortunate experience at the property. The home was nice. The home was clean. There was nothing fancy about it. The hot tub was OK at best. The cable never worked and the sitting room furniture was very uncomfortable. The Mountain View was not picturesque it overlooked Gatlinburg. We were very disappointed in our experience. Beware!

I loved this vrbo, it was clean and the hot tub was a great addition. The view is spectacular, you can see right into the city and all of the mountains. The bears came right on the front lawn which was very cool for us being from Michigan!

The chalet was just like described. We enjoyed our time we spent there. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable bed, super clean, and beautiful view. We even caught a sunrise. Enjoyed time in the sauna and hot tub. Brought back memories playing the retro arcade. The host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was not seeing any wildlife. Hopefully next time.

I stayed with my youngest daughter for the weekend. It was great! Absolutely beautiful views, super clean and quiet. The driveway is a little intimidating, but we had no problems. It’s all part of the experience. I’d absolutely recommend it and would stay again.

The place was gorgeous, the view was amazing, the only issue is the very steep and narrow driveway that made access difficult.

We had a good stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean beds were comfortable. It you want to see bears this was a great spot we saw some every morning and night. We made sure to lock the trash up correctly but others in the area did not so this may have brought more in. Some tips for people who might choose this cabin: 1-we found backing up the drive way was best since we had two cars and both had cameras. We had a 4x4 and a front wheel drive both made it up fine. Make sure your parking break is in working order you will need it. 2-if you are going to cook/grill bring pot holders there are none and we had to use the bath towels and there are no grill tools so bring some. We had a WiFi issue and the property manager answered right away and we were able to get it reset rather quickly. We would chose this location again if we returned. We followed our GPS the first day and hated the road it took us on but once we found the other way in from Ski Mnt Rd to Baden it was so much better.

The roads are so treacherous, can’t go out at night, no street lights. BEARS everywhere!! No good for people in their 60s. Although it’s beautiful

Great cabin, the deck next to the hot tub could use a deterrent to keep bears from climbing it. We had a bear climb up next to us while we were enjoying the hot tub. Literally 5 ft from my face. I’m not mad. No one was hurt. Bears come with the territory. I just felt a little vulnerable. All together an amazing stay. Definitely a location to make memories at. Highly recommend staying here to anyone that had common sense. Some bear knowledge helps too!

Spent a few days here doing hiking and biking in the mountains with my wife. It provided what we needed in a place to kick back at the end of a few long days. The cabin seemed to be well maintained and the views from the porch were great. Morning sunrises and city lights at night. The driveway is steep, but just as steep as the roads leading to the cabin so if you are able to get up there, you should be able to get into the drive. The only issue we had was with the narrowness of the driveway. Entry and exit can be a bit tedious due to this. You are able to turn around at the top but the narrowness can also make that a bit tricky. For me, this wouldn’t deter me from staying here again but it is worth mentioning.
