With over 26 miles of Long Beach Peninsula, there is a lot to explore. If you drive north to Ocean Park, there are bookstores, restaurants and gift stores, and more beaches to explore. Stop into Jack’s Country Store to see the historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta, you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. At the northern tip of the Peninsula is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.
Downtown Long Beach is about 7 miles to the south. It is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival, Rod Run, and of course, fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. There are great shops, a variety of restaurants, and lots of things for the kids to do, including miniature golf, the arcade, and go-cart rides too.
Ilwaco, Cape Disappointment, and the North Head lighthouse are south of Long Beach. There are art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months, there’s Saturday Market, too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers, and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. You can also consider taking a charter fishing trip for salmon, halibut, tuna, or sturgeon.

Great place at the end of the road with direct view and access to the beach. Very nice covered outdoor area as well as a large area out the beach side of the property to a fire pit and gazebo. Inside of the house has new LVP floors and older homie feel with a well appointed kitchen. Beds were very comfortable as well. We will definitely try and stay here again in the future.
While this cabin is in a neighborhood with lots of other beach houses, once you're in it, you feel like you're the only ones there. Looking out the large living room windows to the west, you see a wide swath of dune grass and the path towards the beach, and you can catch a glimpse of water between the grass and the sky. Even though we were there during the International Kite Festival (and took the opportunity one afternoon to go into Long Beach to watch), the place was quiet and serene. It wasn't a long drive to Leadbetter State Park, where we hiked along the beach and some of the trails. We saw three other people the whole time we were there. The cabin itself was lovely. The furnishings were comfortable, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped.
Felt like grandma’s beach cottage, cute, cozy, and just a short walk to the beach! It was perfect for our group of 2 couples for 4th of July. Made for a great fireworks viewing, and it’s so low key in that area, wasn’t a crazy mob like the busy access points in town. Highly recommend!
Great placce! Lots of private outdoor spaces to enjoy: covered patio out of the wind and rain.. backyard with firepit.. we brought firewood so it was used ALOT!! I wish i had known that you cant burn wood inside the house.. instead you need pestolog type things. Still cozy.. inside was comfy and perfect space for the 3 of us.. gas bbq made meal prep easy and quick. We didn't watch tv but there was one there... comfortable beds, couches, and the dining room seats 6+... washer and dryer was a bonus... thing to note: while this place IS within walking distance to the beach, those people with mobility issues would be better off getting in the car and driving up to the beach access at Cranberry Road or up to 225th street to drive on beach. Crossing from the property to the beach thru the dunes was challenging... Still its a great place and one.that we would definitely revisit! We had a lovely time!
The house is cozy and clean. Kitchen has lots of cooking/baking utensils which was awesome!
