Garden Cottage 69 Coastal and Cozy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful and very nice. The house was comfortable and had most all needed items. The kitchen could use a few more “newer” cookie sheets/bread pans. Other than that we enjoyed the board games on the rainy night. We were a little disappointed and felt misled with the beach access. When booking I read there is some beach access at low tide. However, there was only one day that it was accessible. The main reason I booked this place was so we didn’t have to use public beach and have to drive somewhere to get on the beach.

We love staying in this neighborhood but wouldn’t choose this unit again. When we checked in at 4:00 the house was over 80 degrees inside, it took all afternoon and most of the night before it got to a comfortable temperature. This was incredibly disappointing in the middle of the summer when the rental company was well aware people were checking in and did not make an effort to ensure we were comfortable upon arrival. Throughout our stay the HVAC system had trouble keeping up and we had to keep the blinds closed the entire trip to ensure the house stayed cool. The owners should considering upgrading their HVAC system. It may have been due to the heat but the kitchen had a fruit fly problem and there was a dead roach by the fridge. The couch cushions could use replacing and the beds were incredibly firm. The pool is nice and it is a quiet area.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with super close access to the beach, pool and clubhouse. All are very nice. While beach access is convenient , there is not a beach view from the property. Restaurants and shopping are just a few miles away. The house was very clean and well appointed. There is a great deck off the upstairs bedrooms with plenty of room for 6 people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. The kitchen appliances are in good condition. The main living area is an adequate size with a large TV. Beach chairs are provided. One great part about our time there was that it was not crowded. We had no trouble getting into restaurants with no wait and the beach was not overcrowded. Would recommend .

We were very pleased with our cottage!! The location was wonderful!!! An end cottage and two blocks from the pool. It was very quiet and relaxing and very clean and decorated nicely to our taste. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.quiet and relaxing

Great first impression with high ceilings and nice furnishings. First cockroach discovered on the outside doormat which I dismissed as being outside. Then a second one next morning in the kitchen. Then a third one in front of the bathroom that afternoon and the fourth one the morning after in the bedroom. All upside down but not quite dead. Lastly, we went to use the washer and there was what appeared to be a liquified detergent packet in the lint basket. We elected not to use the washer. All that being said, the place was nice and the beds were comfortable and plenty of room for four of us.

The condo was big, clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Very nice neighbor hood and clean. The cottage was well Stocked and clean. We had four adults and two kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The management company was very easy to work with and helpful.

Great!

We had a beautiful time taking our kids to the barrier islands. This town home gave everyone plenty of room to relax and refresh from the days of beaching at the many varied and beautiful beaches in the area. The property has no beach to speak of, even at the lowest tide due to a seawall, but the location made visiting the other beaches easy. The owner was quick to respond to a small plumbing issue. I plan to come back as often as I can.
