Galena Retreat: Shopping, Owners Club & Skiing!

What a great property! So clean and nicely decorated. The amenities and extras were a surprise too. Coffee bar, snacks, wine, games…they really made us feel so welcomed. This is a great place for a family or two couples to stay comfortably! It’s right on the golf course and less than 15 minutes to downtown Galena! We will be back!

We spend couple days with our family here and absolutely loved it. The house was clean, the nearby pool was a great addition, perfect for peaceful family time.

Great Property

The men golfed, us girls stayed in our place, sat in the balcony and watched golfers. So enjoyable!

This townhouse had everything you could ask for and more. It was very clean, updated, great location, and had everything you could ask for plus more. There was a full coffee bar to get you started. My grandson loved the loft with the “transformer” sofa and PacMan game. We enjoyed the tranquillity and scenery. It was easy communication with the property managers and owners. They were quick to respond and very responsive to our special requests. We will be back again this winter!

Townhouse fully equipped with anything you may need. Great communication with the hosts. Welcome snacks and wine were perfect. Access to the Owners Club is great- indoor/outdoor pools, gym, basketball court, game room was fun. Loved sitting on the deck in the evenings. Definitely would recommend to family and friends!

The property is located near the South Golf course, amazingly quiet. 15 mins from downtown Galena, a must see. The hosts were fantastic, we will return.

We booked this as a last minute trip due to travel conditions to our original destination becoming unsafe. We are so happy we did. We have found a new area, only hours from where we live that we will be coming back to year after year. The accommodations are fantastic, clean, and well-located in the Galena Territory. They are just miles away from shopping, dining, fishing, trails, and golf—all that while still being away from the city life. The instructions left by the owners were great. Check-in went without incident. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We had a great stay. Condo was modern, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed plus some extra niceties. The owner checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Accommodations were perfect. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable beds, and it is located in a quiet neighborhood.

This rental had everything we needed. Very clean, spacious. Owner's club was excellent. Close to downtown Galena. Took a drive to the Musuem and Aquarium in Dubuque which was only 30 min away. Bottle of wine and snacks were a nice welcoming touch. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at the townhouse . It was clean and had everything you might need or want. The kids loved the Pac-Man machine where I loved sitting on the porch with Coffee! Definitely will go back !

We love going up to Galena and this was a perfect condo for us. Place was very clean, great location, and had all the amenities! Would highly recommend it!

This home was exactly what our family needed for our vacation! Roger was the most gracious and helpful host, readily available and very friendly. The home had everything we needed for our stay and the owners club was perfect for the kids. Galena had great dining and shopping and our host suggested the museum aquarium in Dubuque which we all enjoyed. 10/10 would definitely book with Roger & Marilyn again!

Our family took a quick weekend getaway to visit Galena for the first time. We were initially looking for a cabin but came across this listing that caught our attention. We took a chance and ended up loving everything about it! The place was super clean and we loved the decor (elements of mid century modern). Nice quiet and peaceful ride into the property and only 15 minutes away from dowtown Galena. The place had everything you needed too. My kids saw a blue jay for the first time outside in the little patio, which was cool. We would definitely stay here again next time we come visit Galena! Thanks again for the hospitality!
