The property was fantastic and had everything we needed.

We rented for a week in April. Only got to use the hot tub once due to the weather. But it was very nice. Do wish it had a screen for privacy. The house was nice but could use some updating. We had trouble with the tv's. The one in bedroom & game rm didn't work. And the one in living rm had a loud buzzing sound at times. Also the stairs are very steep. However the bedrooms were nice & beds comfortable. And Brian was always quick to respond to any questions we had & very nice. Galena is a great place to visit with many good restaurants & shops.

This was a great place to stay in the Galena area. Easy to get downtown. Perfect for 3 couples to enjoy the holidays.

Everything was nice and clean. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made our trip extra special!

This was the perfect house for a Galena getaway! We were close enough to drive to all the things we wanted to do but in an area that was calm and peaceful. The house was clean and well-equipped. The property manager responded right away to any questions. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for a girls trip weekend to Galena. Property was clean and cozy, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice fire one of the nights. I will say be careful of falling walnuts while sitting around the fire but other than that, there was plenty of space and the fact we all had our own bathroom was amazing. Its about a 15 min drive to main street which was not bad at all. Also a plus was having the little grocery store near the golf course to grab coffee and snacks. I would definitely stay here again. There are no ubers or lyfts in the area though so keep that in mind, you will have to drive everywhere, parking for 3 vehicles if needed. This would even be a great place to rent for a familu getaway. Thank you!

Very nice place!

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the area is. All properties are landscaped beautifully. The houses are spaced apart enough for privacy. The owners club was upscale and had many amenities. It was not overly crowded. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was a little warm. We never did have a fire, but there was a nice little pit for it. Everything worked except we did initially have a problem with the dryer, but I think it was our mistake. Brian responded immediately to my message, but it turned out that we didn’t close the door well enough.Couch was comfy & so were the beds.We rented a pontoon a couple times to fish. My bird app gotta work out and we heard a lot of different birds. Also went to Shenandoah for a trail ride. Really enjoyed that! I’m 65 so was a little afraid at first, but it was easier than I thought!Would definitely recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay with family. The home is very clean and we had no problems. The three bedrooms with their own private bathroom worked excellent. A very nice hot tub and firepit. We would stay again.

The three bedroom home with 3 ensuite bathrooms was exactly what we needed. Hot tub was great. The game room was not air conditioned, so it was stifling and unusable during the heat wave that occurred during our stay. We didn't bring passwords for streaming services - cable and/or regular TV service was not available. Would rent again if in the area.

Great house and beautiful location! Very peaceful, lots of amenities available nearby and on the property, and plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub in the back is a great cherry on top! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other guests.

Great property.

The house is in a great location on a quiet cul-de-sac with woods in the backyard. The 3 bedrooms all have ensuite baths, which is a great feature. We were disappointed in the overall condition of the property. Walking up to the front door, the timber pathway is uneven and some timbers are deteriorating. The laminate floor on the main floor is separating. There are stains on the ceiling tiles in the main floor bathroom. We ate most of our meals in the house and found the kitchen equipment to be basic. The plates are chipped and the flatware is mismatched. The deck in the back is also showing signs of deterioration. Overall, we felt that the property is aging and in need of maintenance and updating. We have stayed at several other properties in the Galena Territory and found them to be better maintained with higher-quality finishes. In summary, the house met our needs but not our expectations.

Timber Edge was perfect as a family getaway. The great room was cozy and we felt cocooned, surrounded by our own private “timber edge”.A walk out the patio door led to a toasty warm hot tub and a fire pit, perfect for s’mores.We are definitely coming back!

This house was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The listing is accurate, the beds are comfortable, the hot tub was perfect and the clubhouse was great for the kids.

This property clearly has an outstanding team managing it - from making the reservation to arriving to the home, our experience was outstanding. What stood out most to us was walking into the home and sensing that it is incredibly well-cared for, from the furnishings to the cleanliness. Each bedroom suite is comfortable and private and the main spaces of the room allow for relaxed gatherings. Of course, the hot tub and fire pit area add to the charm of this property. Thank you for providing us such a lovely place to enjoy a holiday.

Our stay at Timbers Edge was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy yet spacious cabin, the beautiful wooded surroundings, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend getaway for friends. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy fireplace and comfortable beds. The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a fantastic hot tub where we could unwind and take in the peaceful scenery. The location was perfect—just a short drive to downtown Galena, yet secluded enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Timbers Edge for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

The property was cute and extremely clean upon arrival. The location was great as it was a short drive from several attractions in the Galena area. The bedrooms each had individual bathrooms which was nice. The house was cozy and the fireplace was perfect for relaxing during the cold evenings.

All the little details made for a great stay. There were plenty of towels, coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, blankets, and pillows. Washer and dryer available for use. The hot tub was very nice and so relaxing. I would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our time in this beautiful, cozy home. It was the perfect getaway for our family to enjoy some peace and nature. Everything was readily available as if you were in the comforts of your own home. We will definitely be back for our annual Galena fall getaway.

I’d never been to Eagle Ridge, But my son-in-law had and wanted us all to see it. The owners of the property are so gracious and accommodating. Very easy to communicate with. Even when the furnace wouldn’t work, they made sure there was state of the art portable heaters in every room. I would definitely recommend this property and these owners, and hope to rent there again.

We booked this house last minute over Columbus Day weekend. Love that it is dog-friendly so our mini golden doodle could come with us and run around in the beautiful wooded yard. We all enjoyed the foosball table and curling up on the large comfy couch. Bedrooms were comfortable and heat easy to control with Nest thermostat. Loved the electric tea kettle. House was immaculate and host attentive. Prospective guests should note that the front door opens on the upstairs level and that the kitchen/living room are down a flight of stairs. Not a problem for us, just a note. Would stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The house was great for our girls trip! It was clean, nicely decorated, and perfect for all eight of us ladies. Location is only 15 min. from downtown Galena. The granite countertops, full-size fridge, large dining table and bathrooms off each bedroom made our stay easy. Definitely recommend!

This unit was very clean with all appliances described in listing. The Jacuzzi was amazing. Owner was very responsive and when we had questions about the Jacuzzi, he responded quickly and even stopped by to help us that meant a lot to us. The fire pit was very nice at night. Very clean, quiet neighborhood with quick access to the club that has amazing facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, gym, etc. Galena downtown was very close and great to visit.
