Stayed Jul 16, 2024We visited Reno/Sparks in the dead of summer, upper 90s everyday for a youth baseball tournament. Traveled with 2 families and an extra teammate and boy did this property deliver. We knew if we got a hotel we'd be stuck with 200 square feet, no room for luggage and needing to eat out every meal. This is why we rented this VRBO. Here we were able to cook two meals a day, and the house is well-stocked with everything you need outside of your food and beverages. There's even a sandwich press, high end blender and a waffle maker. The bedrooms with queen and king mattresses were very comfortable. If there was one thing we'd improve on is the bunk mattresses. The best part though was being able to entertain our families and friends ranging from kids as young as 9 up to 14 with all the games, board games, basketball net, ping pong table, video games and more that it helped keep the house quiet or filled with laughter and fun. We didn't even need to remind kids to stay off of their devices because they were interacting together. We realized we would go through towels quickly so upon request to the owner, he delivered towels the same day. Upon arrival, we joked about the labeling of everything, but when it came to cooking in the kitchen or turning on/off the lights it was really convenient. The house slippers were a nice extra touch! A great time spent, great memories made, host was superb at communicating and responding to questions.

Stayed Mar 21, 2024We used this house as a hub for our sons wedding. Most family had hotel rooms, but we needed a place to gather during the day. It was good for that. The house is a decent size, but it's kinda funky and has a strange layout. The kitchen and living room are connected so there is enough room to gather. This is where we spent most of our time. Loved having the dining table in the kitchen as i spent a lot of time in there! Kitchen missing larger bowls, but otherwise decently stocked. Bedrooms ok. Beds are average comfort. Master bathroom is great, but closet could use paint. The bunkbeds are rickety, so good for small ppl. Tons of games to play, but we were disappointed that bedrooms didn't have tv, only small TV in living room and huge gaming TV in the non- bedroom. Also, lots of albums/records for decor, maybe an actual turntable would be cool? Host was quickly responsive to issue with getting in the front door, which was appreciated. Another thing is the heat automatically turns down pretty low overnight. We did have guests who were complaining about the cold. Overall, it was a fine stay. Personally, I think the place is overpriced for what it is, but we had no major problems.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024After a very brief snafu with the door lock, our stay was great. Very clean and organized place. Lots of space for a small group.
