Fully renovated, luxuriously appointed 1920s home in Historic District

The house was great. It has everything you could want and more and it was decorated to make you feel like you were staying with friends. We loved the PacMan machine!

We had everything you could possibly needFrom kitchen to entertainment. Very clean place.Host as extremely friendly and helpful.We brought our pet and they had everything we needed for a perfect stay.We would stay here again and recommend this to our family and friends!

Such a cute, clean and well stocked house! It is easy to stay there and feel like you are at home. The side yard provides plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors of the Lowcountry and the screened porch is dreamy with the twin swing. I sat outside several mornings and read my book listening to the birds and people passing on morning walks. I highly recommend this rental. The hosts are super easy to work with and know a lot about the area to share and make your trip even more fun and interesting.

House was very clean, nice & cozy, and kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed the porch and putting green in the back as well. Location was very good. Owner was very hospitable and easy to communicate with.

Beautifully renovated comfortable home within easy walking distance of downtown. The kitchen is amazing-well supplied with every cooking implement one could need, the bed is comfortable. The fenced in yard is nicely landscaped.ll It’s a delight!

Excellent house and ambience of everything. They have tons of lights in and out of the house that are on timers as well as tons of things for families & kids.

A great spot close to downtown!!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been more comfortable. We even had everything we needed for a beach day, comfortable chairs, and towels, and cart. I don’t think one detail was missed! we loved the screened in porch and spent a lot of time outside. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Would love to come back someday! Thanks for sharing your darling cottage with us!

Our stay was delightful as the cottage has been renovated beautifully. The screened in side porch, front porch and outdoor yard are lovely. The neighborhood is charming, quiet and filled with spectacular, old oak trees covered in hanging moss. The home is close to downtown and a lovely park a few blocks away. Our host was easily accessible to answer any questions or make suggestions. It was a memorable stay!

The Pruitt House is a one of a kind rental...the history and antique elements were just wonderful. The landscape was beautiful and the fenced yard for our fur babies was the best. Kathy was totally responsive no matter what we needed. The house is so complete that you really just need your clothes and food. And your pets are totally cared for with crates, blankets, furniture covers, food bowls, etc. If you have the chance to visit Beaufort, this is the perfect place to stay. We certainly hope to return!

This is an amazing house that has a fantastic fenced in backyard for your furry family members. It is decorated beautifully and every possible kitchen accessory you could think of is provided. We loved that it was walking distance to town. The host was great with communication and super friendly. If we are ever back in the area we would absolutely love to stay here again.

We loved the Pruitt Grocery House! The cottage is even better than the pictures show. There is a very nice landscaped garden area with a fire pit on the side. The owners are very friendly and easy to communicate with!

The owners have thought of everything. First class remodel. Everything works. Fenced yard is beautiful and great for dogs. Highly recommend!

This place was not only beautiful but had everything we needed and more for our vacation. The kitchen was so well appointed that we enjoyed several meals there rather than going out! The fenced in yard was wonderful for the dog on our trip as well. The location was walkable to the waterfront and all the wonderful shops. We were looking for a low key vacation to spend time with friends and this was exactly it!

My husband & I came to Beaufort to do some exploring and get some much needed rest and relaxation. We considered several places to stay, but when we saw Pruitt's Grocery, we knew this was going to be our home base for our week-long trip. It was a perfect oasis. The property description is spot on. The beautiful historic home was luxuriously appointed and had everything we needed and so much more! The welcome binder was extremely helpful, thorough and interesting and our host, Kathy, was attentive, responsive, and gave us numerous excellent recommendations for restaurants, music venues, sightseeing, shops, and nearby places to visit. We even received a gift card to Lowcountry Cider where we had breakfast one morning - best blueberry scone and biscuit we have ever had! We also enjoyed sitting at the bar at Plums and our favorite restaurant was Old Bull Tavern. Most days we made the short walk into town enjoying seeing all the beautiful homes and visiting the historical cemetery. We also took day trips to some other islands and Kathy again provided great recommendations, especially Hunting Island and lunch at Fish Camp. We spent every evening having pre-dinner cocktails on the front porch listening to music on the karaoke machine we named Steve'. And we really enjoyed cooking dinner a few nights in the gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill and fire pit. Also, don't miss watching sunsets on the waterfront! Pruitt's Grocery surpassed all our expectations and we hope to return soon!
