Fully-renovated, dog-friendly home near the beach with fast WiFi, washer/dryer

Everything was great. The kitchen was perfect and the rooms were just the right size.

The kitchen was nice as was the outdoor showers. Otherwise I would never rent from Vascasa again. Notified the company of concerns with cleanliness and safety, no one ever showed up to address. No thanks, don’t recommend

The location was fine, the property served its purpose…. Cockroaches though…. I suppose it is the south so not sure how common that is? Additionally it felt like the floors were not very clean…. And we had sand in our bed so…. That was interesting. Other than that, the location and pricing was great.

Great! As advertised! Easy walk to a couple restaurants...super close to Hatteras Sail Shop. I will definitely book this place again!

It was a pleasant stay

Beautiful house, beautiful property! It was clean, had everything we needed. Theres 2 outdoor showers and 2 hammocks in the huge backyard. Great relaxing weekend. We will be back for sure.

My family and I stayed at this house last year and loved it so much we booked it again this year. It’s very comfortable, clean and close enough to everything we wanted to do on our trip! I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a beach house!

The house was clean plenty of room for my family.

We loved nothing about it. Dirty. Beds were unusable. WiFi so bad it cost me substantial data overage fees. Pans in kitchen that the handles fell off when I picked them up. A grill so wobbly it almost crumbled upon opening the lid. Vacasa has ruined my Hatteras vacation experience. When it was Outer Beaches Realty before, we had numerous quality vacations in the Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo portion of Hatteras Island. I now don’t know if I can ever get my wife to go back there, which is a huge disappointment since I grew up in Virginia Beach and spent much of my young adult life down on the Island. Sad. I may never go back.

Clean and pet friendly

It was great

We picked this property mainly for the single floor plan. Traveling with someone who would have trouble with multiple flights of stairs made it a necessity. Amazed with how quiet it was, being so close to the highway. The kids loved the bunkbed. The shower in the master bath was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the morning traffic go by. The kids loved the fenced in yard. The Rodanthe beach access being a 2 min. drive down the road and how close we were to just about everything made the location prime. The ramp out back, along with with beach showers right outside the laundry room really made returning from the beach hassle free. Would definitely book this property again.

Our family of 8 was very comfortable here, great location in a less crowded area of the outer banks. About a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to beach access.
