For Families & Pets! Oceanside Oak Island Getaway

We had a great time and loved the location. The house was very nice.

Great location, a very close walk to the beach. Comfortable seating, comfortable beds, overall a really great space to enjoy a weekend at the beach.

If I could complain about anything with Almost Mykonos, it would be that we overpacked making sure we had everything we needed. Not only was the place clean, it was as if the owners figured out everything and anything a renter could use or needed and provided it! The home is well appointed, the yard immaculate and the location only steps from the ocean! If anything, the ones in the kitchen are very dull and could be sharpened.

Location, location, location. 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, two blocks from David Creek for kayaking and fishing, 2 minute car drive to stores and restaurants, 10 minutes to the point. House was very spacious and VERY clean. Lots of beach supplies provided which made life so much easier. We brought a couple of our four legged friends, and the second floor deck was perfect for them to dry off after being washed on the ground level outside shower. It was also a nice shady place for them to hang out. The great room was the place to be on the rare occasion that we were at the house hanging out. House stayed nice and cool even during some very hot weather.Plenty of parking and a nice fenced in area for dogs (just be a good owner and clean up!). Wonderful owners.

Nice Place

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this house. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything a cook loving family needs. Towels were nice and soft, with plenty for everyone. Everything was placed so well throughout the house with several amenities I was not expecting! Our dog enjoyed the breeze on the front porch as well as ourselves! And the easy access to the fenced in area was perfect. View of the ocean was lovely too. Very clean as I did my first walkthrough, great communication with the team, and overall just a great house that felt like home for the week. I was sad to leave our favorite beach. Oak island is such a pleasant place to stay no matter the time of year and this house was icing on the cake!

This was THE perfect place for our family of 7 and our dog! The property was in an ideal location and so well stocked/equipped. We had a blast! The porch was incredible with plenty of room for the whole family to hang out and enjoy the ocean view. Really peaceful and quiet lot with incredibly convenient fenced in side yard for our dog. The living room had ample seating and more than enough space for all of us to sit and watch movies and catch up! Extremely short walk to the beach and also close to grocery stores and other local amenities. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back every summer!

Loved it! Great location! The deck fit everyone with plenty of room! The walk across the street to the beach was easy. We had a great family trip in this house.

Almost Mykonos was by far the best accommodation yet for our family of 5 adults. The walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes away and every accommodation food wise was within a 5-mile radius. The layout of the house was spacious enough for everyone including our furry members. The porch is to die for…easy entry for the dogs to go down to the fenced area. You will not want to leave!!! Plenty of seating inside and out for everyone. Clean house, great beds and awesome showers!!! Not one thing missing from this location! We enjoyed daily workouts provided by the owners along with their equipment. When finished, we would take their awesome beach cruisers for a stroll. Needless to say we had the best time!!! Thanks for hosting us! Look forward to booking our next trip in the summer of 2024 for you!!!

Checked in early. Property was very clean and well stocked kitchen. Beach equipment was greatly appreciated. I will plan on renting again in the future.
