Florence Family Farmhouse Retreat

Everything was great! We couldn’t find large ice tea pitchers so we bought a couple and left them there.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and well-appointed. It is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The property is secluded, quiet, and fun. Everything was very clean upon our arrival. Check in was easy. Instructions and communication were great. The house had everything our group needed and more. We loved the fire pit area. Such fun. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We had a great time at the property. Everything was as expected.

Long story short, just book this place before someone else does. I'd give it 20 stars if I could.We had 20 people for a family reunion. Toddlers, teens, millennials and grandparents.1) Check-in and check-out process is super easy. 2) Communication was top notch before, during and after our stay. They do give you a phone number for after hours because they might not see something in the app. 3) Interior is bigger than the pictures make it seem.4) Downstairs has 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen and 1 bunkbed) which we needed because we had 2 people in wheel chairs and a few that have troubles with stairs so we needed a lot of rooms on the 1st floor.5) The outside area is amazing. Even though there is lot of space it all seems connected and it wasn't a problem if someone sat on the swinging bench and watched some kiddos on the swing set. 6) There are 2 drawers of flatware and you probably will never run out (huge plus).7) Literally 15 minutes from Walmart/HEB Plus and Sam's Club (and that's taking the backroads). There's also a Dollar General and convivence stores about 10 minutes from the retreat.8) Wi-Fi is reliable and the house has Netflix/Prime Video already connected as well as some Live TV options.9) Kitchen counter prep area is massive, appliances are top notch and the sink is very oversized. All huge pluses for our large group.The only downside my grandmother & a few others said is that she wished there were handrails in the shower. That's it!

Our family of 11 including 5 children spent 3 nights at the Florence Family farmhouse such wonderful accommodations, so much inside and outside space very kid friendly Very clean and beautifully decorated. 5 star resort all the way. Highly recommended for a large family or friend group!

This is our second time staying at this property, and it is still perfect for our group of friends! Beautiful property, great kitchen, front porch, hot tub! We love it all! The management team is very responsive, and it was a lovely stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Florence Farmhouse! We traveled to the Waco area as my wife is pursuing her EDd program at Baylor, and my in-laws flew in from Durham, NC. We were looking for a peaceful getaway from the city, as we live in San Antonio, but we didn’t want to be too far from everything. The house was perfect! Each morning, we enjoyed a quiet moment on the porch with coffee, surrounded by birds chirping, cows mooing in the distance, and roosters crowing. It was truly magical. My father-in-law was especially fond of the peaceful setting, saying it reminded him of his childhood on a farm in Wisconsin.The house itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully organized, with everything clearly labeled for convenience. The large backyard, complete with a swingset, provided endless hours of fun for my daughter and two boys as they played baseball endlessly with a tee & net!Whenever I had a question about the property, I called the contact number, and Sarah, our rental host, was so so kind and incredibly helpful. She even provided us with excellent dining recommendations.This weekend getaway was absolutely worth it. Watching my kids play outside instead of watching TV was a nostalgic reminder of my own childhood. If you’re looking for an incredible experience that’s not too far from the city, this place is perfect. My wife and I are already considering a return trip. We Absolutely loved it and appreciate Sarah for her hospitality!

Both the house and the property were amazing! So glad we found this place... We had plenty of room, it had everything we needed and more, and the holiday decorations made it extra special. Our host was super helpful and always fast to respond. We had a blast!

This house was better than I was expecting - and I had high hopes based on the pictures. It was the perfect space for our retreat. We will definitely be booking it again.

Wonderful home to comfortably accommodate 11 adults & 6 children ages 22 months - 12 years old. Well stocked & within 15-30 minutes of all the sights we visited. Secure with gate & fenced, with great play areas for children. Mapquest & GPS unfortunately said it was on the opposite side of the road, so we all had trouble finding it at first, but after that, very easy to locate.

The property was a great space for our large extended family! There were enough beds as well as living space for all 20 of us! The house was very clean and very well-stocked, making us feel right at home. The expansive yard with kids jungle gym and fire pit was perfect to let our children run! I would highly recommend this property!
