Fishermen's Float

If you wanna get away and relax this is the place. It was beautiful and we had a great time. Were already looking to come back again.

The house was really great for accommodating parents with kids. It would be nice to have had a BBQ. Also there were no dish cloths, tea towels, garbage bags but we just went to town and grabbed some. The wifi was non-existent which made it hard to check in with work and family at home. Also the water shut off a few times on the last day which made cleaning up for departure a little tricky (we left early). The neighbors were doing re-modelling of their unit which was quite loud and they went into the early hours on one night. We did receive notice that we were charged or a broken blind and a missing cushion on the deck chair...we never broke any blinds although one was damaged when we got there. I can't remember if there were actually 4 cushions on the deck chairs but we definitely didn't lose any unless perhaps the wind blew one away while we were away.

Nice float house. In a beautiful area, with lots of outdoor activities close by. Water views cant be beat. Property management company is not very good at answering messages, I suggest calling instead.

It was a really awesome experience super close to silverwood. It does need a few fixes, the tvs didn’t work, there were no screens on the windows, the 1/2 bath toilet got clogged after 1 use and the plunger didn’t work and there were a couple screws up on the deck and one of the kids cut his foot pretty bad. despite these few things, the overall experience was great!

The property listing states 4 beds; however, there were only 2 beds plus a sofa bed (the green couch shown in the photo in the property details. The sofa bed was broken and could not be used. The property manager had known about the broken sofa bed and had ordered a replacement some time before our rental. During several calls days prior to our arrival with the property manager to discuss the schedule for our rental, never once were we told the sofa bed was not usable. On the second day after our phone call to complain, a futon type sofa was brought to replace the sofa bed. It was much smaller than the sofa bed but still adequate for children.

This was an amazing experience. We enjoyed the lake, went to silverwood, and enjoyed hiking around town. We had so much fun. We will be back!!

Second time renting this property. I think we are going to do this every year from now on! The second bedroom (and ability to sleep 6) is great when needed. We enjoyed the view every morning, and sitting on the dock just outside the front door was peaceful. And the Farragut trails (though a bit confusing) were fun. We hiked about 30 miles of them over the week. I highly recommend this town, and this property! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very unique. House was nice. We were a touch disappointed with dog hair on our sox, and the prior renter's dirty pan in the oven. Minor compared to the property's unique view and offerings! I highly recommend. Our last night, there was a heavy thunder/lightening storm. Quite the show!
