Fishermans Getaway in Clayton & St. Lawrence River

Everything was on point, we are from hot climate; We came to experience the winter and it didn't disappoint; we loved the view, the house it's so well distributed an specious inside, it has space for every one. The not so young ones stood at the lower floor with acces to everything, the rest upstairs. We really felt at home for these 2 days.

Fisherman’s GetawaySpacious clean living area. 3 bunk rooms and 2 rooms with queen beds upstairs and 2 rooms with queen beds downstairs. Large closets in all but one bedroom. Bedrooms do not have dressers. Downstairs bath is shower only and that bath shares laundry. Upstairs bath has tub and has door to hall and bedroom. Kitchen has 2 refrigerators. Upstairs living area has large TV and all bedrooms have tvs. Enclosed upstairs porch. Plenty of room. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. There are some incidental repairs needed, but nothing that interfered with our stay. We told them about those. We would stay again.

Very clean! It is very roomy. Places for everyone to hangout.

Fishermans getaway in clayton ny was perfect for our group. We are veterans and enjoy our get together's throughout the year. Allison our was great and easy to work with. And the fishing on 1000 islands was outstanding. We hit it just right. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a blast! Great location with lots to do around. The house fit 12 of us comfortably and the fenced in yard was nice for our 2 dogs!

Host was great, easy to communicate with and very helpful. Great house, comfortable stay.

We stayed at this property for a family wedding in Clayton. It was a great house for us, with all the rooms! Allison was great in making sure we had everything we needed when we arrived helping us find the cots

Spacious and clean rental- great for a large family gathering- close to Clayton, Alex Bay. A nice firepit in the backyard for relaxing after a day on the river. Nice stargazing opportunities too. I would rent again.

Great Facility, clean, comfortable, convenient location what more can you ask for. Our host, Allison was professional and responsive to all of our question. Would definitely recommend!!!

Overall, the house was good, but there are a few things that really need to be taken care of. Pros: I spoke directly to the property manager a few times, and she was very nice, friendly, helpful and open to suggestions. The house had a nice layout with a lot of bedrooms and two living spaces. The yard is fenced in and has lots of outdoor seating. Cons: (suggestions were given to the host) There was a very strong urine smell on the main level. I believe it was in the carpet and the furniture. There was a broken chair in the living room that especially smelled strong.(Property manager brought somebody in the very next day to shampoo the carpets and get rid of the chair) Bedroom were very small, especially the two on the main level. One of them had a locked closet and no room for a dresser or anything so we barely had room to pile our things on the floor in the corner. The umbrella for outside at the picnic table was in shreds and wouldn’t open the whole way. The host said she will replace that. Overall, not a bad place to rent, but I would double check that these things were taken care of. Again, the property manager was very helpful and communication was good.
