Our 3/2 Beautiful 2nd Story Home is in Marathon Fl. Located in the middle of the Florida Keys at MM53 which makes the rest of the Keys with-in easy reach. It is on a deep-water channel on the Gulf side with 75’ of concrete dockage. The Gulf is only minutes out the channel and the Atlantic Ocean just a few minutes more back thru Vaca Cut Pass.
Brand NEW April 2022! The 11x22 saltwater private pool is located in the backyard. Has heating and cooling capabilities for $150/week. Request 21 days prior to check-in.
The 75’ of Concrete Dock has a concrete stair cut-out down to the water and a Stainless steel fish cleaning station. The dock is also equipped with fresh water and electric. The water front has a nice area for Sun bathing, lounging and relaxing at the dock. Also in the rear under the unit has a large picnic table and barbecue grill for grilling and outside dining.
The unit has 2 sets of concrete stairs, one located in the front parking area and the other in the rear for easy access to dock and grilling area. There is plenty of off road parking on the right side and under the house. There are two cameras overlooking the pool and Owners Boat. They are motion activated and take still shots every 30 minutes.
Upstairs is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with tile floors thru-out. There is a 10’ x 38’ screened porch across the rear facing the water for relaxing and watching sunsets with balconies on each side. The spacious master bedroom has a King bed and printer with High Speed Internet connections, the #2 bedroom has a Queen bed and the #3 bedroom has 2-Double beds, all 3 have plenty of closet space. Each bedroom has its own thermostat control! The Laundry room is located upstairs with Washer/Dryer & Large Freezer.
The Living/Dining/Kitchen area is very spacious and well equipped. There is a 55” Smart TV with plenty of channels to choose from for any goof-off days
There are two nice boat ramps with in a mile of the house for your convenience. Davits are not for renter use.
Also Fine and casual dining close by. Try Franks, a fine Italian restaurant you can walk to.
Let us recommend 3 Locals’ restaurants that are a must, Island Fish Co at MM54 and the Key Colony Inn & Sparky's Landing located on Key Colony Beach.
The house and location is the absolute best for some relation and great fishing!! All of the upgrades are just icing on the cake and cant wait untill next year!!!
This was a trip to get out of the cold to someplace warm. We are all friends who went to college together. The house was wonderful and the pool great. Manatees met us at the dock on arrival and we watched for them every day. Plenty of room to spread out. Many an evening was spent on the screened in porch reading or playing games. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice House in a great location! TV in bedroom did not work, 1/3 of screen was out. Also, the Air Conditioning is awful in the back of the house and the thermostat would not go below 70
This house was excellent. Very spacious and a great screened in porch. Andy was vary easy to work with. He gave us several suggestions on things to do around Marathon. This was our best trip yet!
Wonderful vacation
Our experience was unique
The home was in a great location. Had plenty of dock space and was exactly what was advertised. Owners are great people and couldn't have asked for a better week in marathon.
House was amazing! Plenty of space and sits on a canal that has easy boat access. We stayed for a week and only ate out one time. Having a full kitchen was awesome. We came down in January and stayed in a hotel. The cost was only about 25% cheaper at the hotel. I don’t think I will ever stay in a hotel again for this type of travel. We are divers, and are a group of four people. Trying to put four people, a weeks worth of clothes, and 4 complete sets of dive gear in a hotel room is a pain. We were all over each other. This house was so comfortable it felt like home. The owner, Andy was also VERY easy to work with. When we arrived, I had a couple of questions, I had his phone number and he answered immediately and was able to tell me what I needed to know. It is nice having an actual contact and not having to go thru a company who will “get back with you”. The location is within walking distance to a Walgreens and there is a nice Bagel shop right across the street thru a cut thru. (2 min walk). There is a Publix and a Winn Dixie grocery store about a 5 min drive. Check the prices. We actually found some stuff to be cheaper at the Walgreens than at the grocery stores. It is about an hour and ten min drive, (which honestly does not seem that long when driving it), to Key West, and about 35 min to “Key Dives” at “Bud and Mary’s Marina” on Islamorada. I would highly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to the Florida Keys.
The place was great. It was just as described and worked out great for our guys trip.
