Finger Lakes ~ Firepit, Pet Friendly, Wine Country

This place was literally crawling with ants, bugs and wasps. I reached out to the owner the first morning after killing ants constantly all over the kitchen and was told that's normal for staying in nature. The house hadn't been cleaned properly and had dust, spider webs, dog hair on the bed and trash still in the trashcans that hadn't been cleaned up. There were no paper towels, Kleenex or kitchen towels to even clean anything. Seating at both the dining table and living room wasn't enough for the amount of guests allowed to stay either. Overall, the house was a decent size with good beds and sleeping arrangements for a large group but it felt dirty and unkept.

Wasn't as clean as the photos suggested.. but still had a good experience staying there. Would recommend

Stinkbugs and ants and dust oh my!Place was absolutely disgusting inside. Their cleaning company is taking them to the cleaners! It's a straight investment property, so no one stops by to check it I guess. I sent a video of me making a circle in the table dust. To be fair, the interior has been updated, they have nice garage for kids to play and a fire pit, but wood was superwet, so it was smoke put for us. The price was cheap, guess I got what I paid for.

Tons of space in the house to relax, hang out, and enjoy some time in the finger lakes area. Host was very responsive.

Beautiful home. Spacious. Just as photos listed. In a calm quiet area perfect for a small getaway. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Love how close it was in proximity to the downtown. Having multiple community rooms throughout the house was great with all the different ages that went on vacation with us. Made the space seem even larger.

Kitchen was very well equipped. A few of the cooking pots are getting old, but that was a minor point.Bedrooms were very comfortable and bathrooms were great. the rec room and garage level game room were very much appreciated.

Wonderful and spacious home

On the website this probably looks amazing when you get there you see that the art of photography creates illusion. Toilets were covered in sanitized tape yet fecal matter stains were present. Dead buns in the light fixture of the showers, hair on the sheets, cobwebs everywhere! Definitely disappointed, especially considering it was 850 for the night and I wasn't even there for 11 hours.

It's a very comfortable house. We had adequate facilities for our large group. It's conveniently located to town and all the other facilities the Finger Lakes has to offer. It helped that we had beautiful weather but it was a great choice to stay.

The home was very nice, spacious, and included a fun game room. We did provide feedback to the owner regarding some concerns, including the temperature of the house and kitchen appliances not working to their best ability, which i believe will be addressed quickly. Overall, I would return again with my friends!

We rented the house for a relaxing bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The house was well stocked and located a short distance from downtown Skan. Would definitely rebook in the future!

This home was exactly as pictured, and the host was absolutely fantastic. I took a girls trip with five of my friends, and we chose this property after looking at many others. It was definitely the right choice for us. The home was extremely clean and comfortable and had every amenity that we could have wished for.. Our host was absolutely fantastic and communicated with us on a regular basis before our stay. There was nothing he did not provide for us, including his time and attention. I would highly recommend this property and this host as well.
